7:30pm Saturday Afternoon
"Diamond can you please hurry the baby shower starts at 8:30" my mom said coming into the room with a aggravated look on her face
"Mom I'm trying okay can you just please let me get ready" I said annoyed
"Okay diamond whatever" she said walking out my room closing the door behind her
Right now I was inside my room looking for my dress I had no idea where I put it at last night before going to daves mom house and I'm trying to hurry up an find it my mom know I'm pregnant and I move really slow but she acting like she don't want to help me find my dress. Dave gone he actually been gone all day I have no idea where he could be at I called his phone and I got no answer just a text saying be at the baby shower at 8:30.
"ughh where is this dress" I mumbled to myself going through the closet throwing everything everywhere I didn't care at this point I walked inside the closet looking down at the floors to see if I can see my dress but I didn't.
"Oh wow I'm so dumb" I said face palming myself before looking up at the shelf and there it was my freaking dress reaching up for my dress on the shelf I grabbed it carefully not trying to rip it or anything that can mess it up and walked out the closet
"hello" I heard a unfamiliar voice say followed after a knock
"Umm...come in" I said confusedly gripping my towel I had rapped around my body
"Hi I'm jay, your husband called for an appointment for me to do your make up" a lady said walking inside my room with a big bag
Husband? Dave is so dumb
"Oh that fine" I side with a small smile "my mom let you in" I asked looking at her
"Yes ma'am,did she have a yellow dress on" she asked walking in sitting her bag on my dresser taking her makeup products out
"Yes that was her" I said looking over at her makeup products "Well, I'll be in the bathroom putting on my dress I'll be right out once I'm done" I said grabbing my dress from off the bed
"Okay no problem"
I walked inside the bathroom and close the door behind me I let my towel drop to the floor and I grabbed my dress trying to put it on.
"Um excuse me miss" I said opening the bathroom door peeking my head out
The lady stop what she was doing and looked up at me " yes ma'am"
