Fear The Storm

The clouds stare down at me with the rage of an avenging army

It spits upon my figure as it tears at me with its invisible hands

Never has the wind felt colder or more unsettling

My breath is dragged out of my throat

And my words are overcome by the roar of thousands of trees bending and cracking all at once

I have no control or say where it sweeps and upturns me

Look around in the fearsome awe and tell me that man is king

I will always disagree however nature itself doesn't control itself

It creates and destroys like a widowed spider hungry for another kill

The wind screams of a creator one who would never allow his daughter to be swept away

The lines man created snap and wires fly wildly but still firmly I'm planted with the arms of my Savior around me
