A Letter To You

16 2 5

Your so far away my love, yet forever my heart yearns for you.
Your always so distant; you leave me yearning for your essence in every way.
Call me impatient or selfish if those are the titles I must bear.
But let me wait for you no longer for it fills me with despair
Long have I sought your eyes in the pages of your letters,
Forever it seems I stare at nothing but a page.
Is my love one sided?
I hope and pray that nay my feelings have been excepted whole heartedly and have filled your heart with abundance.
Your words come to me as a rose,
Flowery and full of passionate gestures.

Yet they remain a thorn in my side reminding me of how little I know of you.

Indeed our love like the rose's roots are shallow upon my heart of stone and it's petals wilt under my glare.
Prove your worth to my soul I beg of thee.
Lest I lend my heart to another,

Now read it backwards.
I'd like to thank -QxeenOfRxndom-  and WriterSaige for giving me the idea for this cool poem.
