I couldn't stop the grin on my face remembering North's displeasure since I didn't let him to come with me to my apartment . I mean that man is really stubborn .

Why should he come along to drop me in my door step ? I was perfectly fine walkimg by myself this small distance alone.

He is too over protective .

I looked down once I reached to my floor .I rolled my eyes seeing North leaning against his car like he has no care about anything but watching me. I waved my hand to signal him to leave. But he didn't move a bit .

Idiot.

I hurriedly get inside my apartment without bothering about North anymore. He can stay outside all I care. He will go when he had enough time freezing outside . It's snowing for godsake.

I couldn't stop screaming when I saw who was sitting on my couch with her hands crossed while sending death glares to me.

Oh my god.

Lyra.

I'm screwed.

" Well Well , Look what we have here ? My so called bestfriend Anouk Star Abbott " Hearing her I cringed . Oh god .

I can't believe I totally forgot about her with all the things happened with North and my dad. Crap I haven't contacted her for about month now since she was away to UK.

"Ly, I can explain " I quickly sat next to her dropping my bags on the floor.

"Yes of course, I'm waiting for your bloody explanation " She slapped my hands away when I tried to touch her. She is seriously mad at me.

" Can you believe this ?My so called bestfriend got herself a boyfriend and her daddy's operation is done successfully " She took a long breath before continuing . If this wasn't serious I would have laughed so hard because it's hilarious to witness Lyra acting like she is in the court.

"And I had to hear those things from others . My soon to be fucking ex-best friend didn't think it's important to give me a single call. Why ? Because she is fucking busy with her newly found boyfriend to pay attention to her poor bestfriend " When I knew she is done her rantings , I shifted closer to her approaching her like some wild animal who would anytime pounce at me.

I knew she is mad at me and her anger would not die until I explain the whole thing to her and apologize her for my behavior .

I let out a long sigh when the uncomfortable silence and tensing air started to lingering around us. Knowing there is no other option, I started explaining her what had really happened in detail making dute not to forget about any single small issue either.

I went on about all the incidents she missed including North's surprise first date.

After I done I looked at Lyra who was sitting next to me but she is looking outside through the window lost in her own world.

I got up knowing she wanted a moment for herself and went to make some snacks for ourselves knowing this is gonna be a long night. Everytime we had a misunderstanding and make up we would have girls night. After that all the problems solved and fogive and forget .

I was so nervous without knowing what would be her reaction . Eventhough, I know I purposely hide the fact that North is interested in me and we are dating I hope she would forgive me cause I don't want to loose my bestfriend . She is all I have after my family and now North. I was just afraid to tell her about North pursuing me and she didn't like North that muchearlier . I was not sure about my feelings toward North that time.
