Chapter 5

The two girls only looked at each other and looked away. Soon their door was knocked and Yuzu walked up to the door opening it
"Princess Aihara we've brought your clothes for you" The maid said and some two maids walked inside the room. Yuzu looked at the maids and decided to leave the room. Mei remained inside the room and the maids organized her clothes in the drawers
"Thank you so much" Mei said
"You're welcome princess Aihara" The maids said. The three maids left and Mei only sat down on the bed. She looked down and sighed
Everything...will be alright. We're starting off good, I suppose
"M-meimei?" Himeko asked as she knocked on the door
"Come in" Mei said. The door opened and Himeko stepped inside along with the two Taniguchi sisters
"How is everything Aihara?" Mitsuko asked
"Everything is okay. I'm doing fine. What about you three?" Mei asked
"Well...that werewolf won't stop whimpering and shaking. I guess she is scared or nervous of meeting new people. It's getting annoying" Himeko said
"Have you told her to stop?" Harumin asked
"I did and guess what she did?" Himeko asked
"Panic?" Mei asked as she raised an eyebrow
"Cry" Himeko said
"Eh? She cried just because you told her to stop?" Harumin asked confused
"She must've panicked" Mitsuko said
"My father told me about the Higashis and how they're all terrible but it seems that this one is too shy and scared. What kind of werewolf acts all terrified in front of a chihuahua? That's pathetic" Himeko said and giggled
"Pathetic?" Someone spoke coldly as the door opened. Everyone turned their heads seeing the Okogi. Yuzu only glared at the girls and stepped inside the room
"I just came back to get something but I couldn't help but overhear the little bitch talk shit about my cousin" Yuzu said and walked towards the girls and glared at the Momokino
"Heh you don't know who you're messing with. There was a reason why my cousin was chosen and that's because the way she fights. So I suggest you don't underestimate her and please stop talking shit about her. That goes for my little bestie, Matsuri, too. We're the strongest out here and could probably take all of you out in one hit. So don't mess with us before we slit your throats" Yuzu said and smiled
"You bitch..." Mei said. Yuzu's eyes widen as her ears perked up
Did this bitch just...
"Hahaha...what the hell did you just say...future bride?" Yuzu asked as she growled
"You just care about power and not your people. Do you feel bad for my people who are starving and freezing? You're going to turn out to be one horrible Queen..." Mei said as she glared at her
"Heh...mind leaving me alone with my future bride?" Yuzu said and gave the other girls a glare
"M-meimei-" Himeko stopped as Harumin grabbed her and shook her head. Himeko trembled a bit and left with the two Taniguchi sisters. The door closed and Yuzu grabbed Mei by her neck pinning her down on the bed. Mei grabbed her arm and trembled a bit
"You've got some nerve talking to me like that. Aren't you scared?" Yuzu asked
"A-as if" Mei said and kept glaring at her
"Don't look at me like that" Yuzu said activating her powers. Mei's eyes widen feeling a bit of heat against her neck
"St-stop it!" Mei said. Yuzu laughed a bit and pulled her hand away
"Such a little pussy...like your father" Yuzu said as she smirked. Mei touched her neck feeling the small burns
Damnit...this fucking bitch...I wish I could just...attack
"I wonder what the Aihara had in mind...putting a kitty and a beast together" Yuzu said. Mei remained silent and just clenched her fists tightly
"Little pussy..." Yuzu mumbled before leaving. She glared at the other girls and let out a soft chuckle as she left. Himeko growled at her and went inside the room
"Meimei! You okay!?" Himeko exclaimed
"Y-yes. I'm fine" Mei said
"What about those red marks?" Mitsuko asked as she noticed Mei trying to hide the small burns
"Wh-what?" Mei asked
"Wait now that I look closely at your neck...there are a couple of marks" Harumin said
"M-meimei! She hurt you! Didn't she?!" Himeko exclaimed as she ran up to Mei checking her neck
"H-himeko, I'm fine. Don't worry about me..." Mei said
"Wh-why did she do it?" Himeko asked
"It's nothing. It's fine" Mei said. A knock was heard on the door and a woman poked her head in
"E-excuse me? Girls?" Ume asked as she stepped in
"Q-queen?" Mei asked
What is she doing her? Did she overhear our conversation?
"Sorry for barging in like this. After seeing Yuzu leave like that, I couldn't help but worry what she'd done" Ume said and walked up to the Aihara
"Uhm...she did n-nothing" Mei said as she looked away nervously
"There is no need to lie sweetie" Ume said as got close and examined her neck
Seriously Yuzu? I'm going to have a talk with that girl
"I-it's fine" Mei said
"Please relax sweetie" Ume said as she released a scent and Mei felt a cooling sensation on her neck
Wh-what is she doing?
"There we go" Ume said
"Y-you heal?" Mei asked
"Yes and I apologize for Yuzu's behavior. I'll be soon having a talk with that girl. Anyways your parents sent you some guards that I think you're familiar with" Ume said
"Mei?" A guy asked as he stood at the doorway
"Vix?" Mei asked and stood up then smiled a little
"Hey! You girls are okay being here?" The other guy asked as he looked around
"Kori!' Harumin said and ran up to him as she hugged him
"It's so great to see you!" Harumin said
"Hehe it's great to see you too" Kori said as he hugged her back
"Ah Mei and Himeko! I missed you two so much!" Vix's little brother said as he smiled
"It's great to see you too, Sen" Himeko said
"I'll be leaving now...and have a word with that girl" Ume said as her eyes glowed slightly and stepped out of the room
"Mei you sure you're okay? Why the hell did you agree to do this?" Vix asked
"I had to do it for our people and kingdom. We can't just stay back and watch them suffer. I don't care if I have to share the same bed with the beast. I must protect my people..." Mei said
"Have they harmed any of you yet?" Kori asked
"They haven't..." Harumin said
"Yet" Mitsuko said
"But Meimei got hurt by that blonde bitch" Himeko growled
"Himeko it's fine. I'm okay" Mei said
"What? That werewolf?" Sen asked
"She shouldn't have hurt you. She can't do that to you. Isn't she your...fiancee?" Vix asked
"I'm not afraid of her. I don't care what I have to do...as long as everyone back home are safe. Are they doing okay?" Mei asked
"Yes. The Okogi clan sent enough resources for the three kingdoms. This alliance...might work after all" Vix said
"That's great to hear" Mei said and smiled a little
They're safe...that's perfect

The people gasped and blushed as the Okogi princess walked pass them. Yuzu only kept a serious expression and arrived at the training room
"Hey Yuzu-chan" Matsuri said as she hung upside down from the bar
"Y-you okay?" Shai asked
"No...I'm pissed" Yuzu growled
"Like always..." Matsuri said and giggled. She fell and landed on her feet
"Anyways you ready for the stupid dinner date?" Matsuri asked
"Not at all" Yuzu said as she removed her shirt revealing her goddess body. She went over to the weights and began to lift them
Stupid Aihara...ugh! I wish I could kill her! Damnit! Why?! Why me?! Just because of this power! I don't care about power! I care for people too! I care for them right?!
"Uh...Yuzu-chan?" Matsuri asked
"Yuzu?" Shai asked
"What?" Yuzu asked
"The weights idiot" Matsuri said as she pointed at her hands. Yuzu looked at her hands seeing the melted weights
Ah shit...they melted again. This stupid fire power...
"You really need to control that anger of yours. What's going on in your mind?" Matsuri asked as she walked up to her
"I-is it because of the Aihara?" Shai asked as she got close to her
"I don't know anymore. I have no idea what I'm feeling...I just want to get rid of that piece of shit. Ever since that bitch came...everything has turned out horribly wrong" Yuzu said and held out her hand
"Y-you just need to cool off" Shai said as she placed an ice block on her hand
"I guess so..." Yuzu said as she melted the ice cube on her hand
"Yeah and need to relax before setting everything here on fire. Guess you'll be needing new weights too. Maybe some fire proof ones" Matsuri said. Yuzu only sighed and walked out of the training room heading to the hallway
"Hey! Where you going now?" Matsuri asked
"U-uh...should we follow her?" Shai asked
"Of course dumbass" Matsuri said. Yuzu stepped inside the arena and stretched her arms out
Just need to release some steam...
Yuzu's eyes glowed as she saw her targets set up. She released her flames at the targets and began to set them on fire
Die...die...die! Just die! Stupid Aihara!
"Hey! Set up this shit to the max!" Yuzu ordered. The man nodded before creating more targets for the Okogi. Yuzu ran up to the targets and her hands were set on flames
"DIE! YOU STUPID BITCHES!" Yuzu shouted before causing a great fire that spread out burning all the targets. She looked at her hand and gritted her teeth
Not...enough...
"Damn...Yuzu is getting much more aggressive" Matsuri said and giggled
"I-I think it's a little dangerous for her, d-don't you think?" Shai asked
"Relax Shai. Yuzu-chan can handle that power. Hehe I'm kinda jealous she was born with that. I'm jealous about your power too" Matsuri said
"B-but your power is amazing too, Matsuri. U-using your soul like that and paralyze your enemies" Shai said
"It really is nothing" Matsuri said as she chuckled softly
"It is something! We can combine our moves and create amazing power moves!" Shai said as she smiled
"Hehe that would be fun. We haven't tried that out yet" Matsuri said
"Yuzuko Okogi!" A woman shouted. Yuzu's eyes widen as her ears perked up. She looked up and above the arena stood her mother behind the cage that surrounded the arena. Yuzu groaned as she pinned her ears down
What the hell does mom want? I didn't do anything wrong right?
"Uh...Yuzu?" Shai asked
"Shut up" Yuzu growled before walking into the training room and headed for the exit. She stepped out shirtless and saw her mother waiting for her out
"Yuzu...why did you harm your fiancee?" Ume asked
"Wh-what? I did no such thing!" Yuzu said
"Don't raise your voice...Yuzuko" Ume said. Yuzu looked away as she clenched her fists tightly
"...yeah...I did" Yuzu said. Ume sighed and patted her head softly
"Yuzu, I know you're afraid of them" Ume said
"Haha...afraid? Mother..." Yuzu paused and held her hand. She looked at Ume with slight tears in her eyes
"I'm...petrified. You think I've forgotten about the beast? How grandmother gave up her life for me? I still remember the look in that beast's eyes...the look of anger...hunger...power. I don't know how you plan me to sleep with the killer's daughter. She looks...so much like her..." Yuzu said
"Yuzu...what about her?" Ume asked
"What?" Yuzu asked
"What about her feelings? You know she lost her mother..." Ume said
"Yeah...and?" Yuzu asked
"How would you feel if you lost me and had to marry the enemy just to save your people and friends from dying?" Ume asked. Yuzu only looked down and sighed
"She is afraid too...but she is staying brave and strong to protect her family. She resembles her mother but that doesn't mean she'll act like her. Give her a chance. Maybe there is something about her that you might like..." Ume said as she stroked her hair softly
"...I understand but I still don't trust them...especially her" Yuzu said and growled
"Just don't harm her. The Aihara clan have sent their best guards to take care of them" Ume said
"Sure...whatever" Yuzu said
"And I hope you will be on your best behavior during dinner" Ume said
"Yes mom" Yuzu said
