Days passed by and the young Aihara was on the bed. Her ears twitched and shivered since she felt cold. She slowly opened her eyes and sat up. Mei turned around and gasped not seeing her mate
Wh-where did she go!? She left without telling me?
Mei stood up from her bed and grabbed a bathrobe to wrap it around her body. She opened the door and looked around trying to find her mate
"Good morning princess" Nene said as she smiled
"Excuse me but...do you know where Yuzu is?" Mei asked
"Yuzu? Well no. I heard some voices at night but I was too tired to even overhear what was going on" Nene said
"What? Voices?" Mei asked
I heard nothing last night...I really must be a deep sleeper
"Okay thanks but if you do see her then please tell her to find me" Mei said
"Sure" Nene said as she nodded and walked away. Mei only pinned her ears down slightly and stepped back inside her room to get changed
Where could she have gone to? Did she leave?
Mei only shook her head a bit and started getting herself ready. After getting ready, Mei walked out of the room
Where could she be?
"Morning Meimei. Have you seen Shai?" Himeko asked worriedly
"Wait she is gone too?" Mei asked
"What do you mean gone too? What happened?" Himeko asked
"Yuzu is gone. She isn't in the room with me" Mei said
"What about that Mizusawa? She might know something" Himeko said
"You're right" Mei said and walked over to the other room. She knocked on it and opened it seeing the bunnies hop out the room
"Mizusawa" Mei said. Matsuri's ears twitched and woke up slowly. She groaned a bit and opened her eyes
"H-huh? What the hell is going on?" Matsuri asked as she woke up
"Mizusawa we need to talk" Mei said. Matsuri whined a bit before sitting up revealing her body covered in marks
"Wh-why are you naked?!" Himeko exclaimed and covered her eyes
"Uh...fucking my mate idiot. Now what the fuck do you want?" Matsuri asked and rubbed her head
"Yuzu isn't here" Mei said
"Neither is Shai" Himeko said with her eyes still covered
"Ah is that why you're worried? Relax the two are in heat" Matsuri said
"H-heat?" Mei asked
"Yeah you know their bodies heat up and that means they need to release a lot of cum. Too bad they left since they were taken away last night while you two were sleeping" Matsuri said and laid back down
"Wait but why would they be taken away?" Himeko asked as she uncovered her eyes

"Let's go" Mei said as she grabbed Himeko pulling her away and closed the door. They looked down seeing the bunnies hopping away
"Why would they leave? Is it bad that they're in their heat?" Himeko asked
"We need to ask them" Mei said as she walked to the main area of the castle. She stopped seeing her father-in-law speaking to her grandfather
"Excuse me" Mei said
"What? Oh morning Mei. Do you need anything?" Yongi asked
"Actually...uhm...what happened to Yuzu?" Mei asked
"Shai went missing too. We asked the Mizusawa and all she said is that they left last night when we were asleep" Himeko said
"That's right. They're in heat" Yongi said
"But...why did you take them away?" Mei asked
"W-well...let's just say they act quite...differently during their heat. It'll only be for five days until they get back" Yongi said
"Where did you take them?" Himeko asked
"Back home. To their main land" Yongi said
"What? Wh-why? Is it something bad?" Mei asked concerned
"Well..." Yongi paused and sighed
She's her mate. She has to know about this...though I'm not sure if Yuzu would like this
"Excuse me Mr. Aihara. I need to talk to your granddaughter for a moment please" Yongi said
"Go ahead" The old Aihara said
"Thanks. Now Mei please follow me" Yongi said
"Can Himeko come along?" Mei asked
"Sure but please don't tell anyone about this..." Yongi said as he walked away with the two girls. He guided the two girls down the hall and went to a family sanctuary
"What is this place?" Mei asked as she looked around
"This is a sanctuary of the Okogi family. It be best if we spoke in here" Yongi said
"Why would you want to speak in private? Is it...something serious?" Mei asked

Himeko only looked around and saw a picture frame of an old lady with beside a younger girl who had black hair and green eyes
She looks similar to...wait...
"Excuse me your majesty but...who is she?" Himeko asked
"Hm? Oh...that's my mother and my wonderful daughter" Yongi said
"D-daughter? Is she...your other daughter?" Mei asked
"No...that's Yuzu" Yongi said
"What? Yuzu?" Mei asked as she looked at three picture again
"B-but she looks different" Himeko said
"That's because it's Yuzu's true self..." Yongi said
"True self?" Mei asked
"Yuzu is just like you. She was born as an ordinary pup since she inherited it from her mother's side. My father didn't like it but my mother took care of Yuzu and helped her out with her power" Yongi said
"What? So...you're saying she was born as a domestic animal instead of...a werewolf?" Mei asked
"Yes. We kept it a secret from the villagers since they all prefer to see a strong leader that won't ever let their pack get harmed. So we lied about Yuzu being a pure werewolf. Yuzu lived a wonderful childhood and was very happy until...well...the incident" Yongi said as he looked down
"The incident?" Mei asked
"Yes...when my mother passed away. Yuzu came back in her werewolf form..." Yongi said
"But how did she transformed?" Mei asked
"I don't know...but Yuzu came back differently. She told me she wanted to start training even though she was just a small little pup. In the end, I agreed and helped her train. She surprisingly began to grow stronger than anyone else...even though she was cursed with the Black Heart. Yuzu showed no fear in front of her enemies and always helped those in need. I believe that's another reason why my father chose her to be the next Queen" Yongi said and noticed Mei getting closer to the picture frame examining it
"M-meimei?" Himeko asked
"S-sorry but...it's just that...I feel like we've met before. I just...can't remember" Mei said as she looked down
Black hair...green eyes...I seriously need to remember. I know I met someone with black hair...
"A-anyways does that mean...I can't see her?" Mei asked
"I'm afraid not. Yuzu acts differently whenever she is in her heat. She turns back to her original form as a pup and begins to shake in fear. She is the total opposite. Yuzu gets scared and runs away from danger. So...she is more of a coward now" Yongi said as he smiled nervously

"B-but what about Shai?" Himeko asked
"Shai gets really embarrassed during her heat and...her little split personality begins to take over" Yongi said
"So we have to wait five days?" Mei asked as she pinned her ears down
"I know it's upsetting but you'll see them soon and Mei...please don't mention this to anyone. Especially Yuzu..." Yongi said
"Why? Does she not like to talk about it?" Mei asked
"She hates that side of her and doesn't like to talk about the past. She tries to forget it but...with that Black Heart...it's difficult to forget" Yongi said
"...Yuzu said....she had two years left or one..." Mei said as she trembled while looking down
"Is there...anyway...to stop the curse?" Mei asked as she lifted her head up. Yongi looked at Mei's concerned expression and noticed the tears in her eyes. He gave her a soft calm smile and patted her head softly which surprised Mei
"Don't worry Mei. I promise Yuzu will live a long and beautiful life with you. I'll do whatever it takes to save her" Yongi said
"Th-thanks..." Mei said as she smiled a bit
Dad...
"Well we better head back. You two must be hungry right?" Yongi asked
"Y-yes" Himeko said
"I think so" Mei said
"Let's head to the kitchen. I'll make you two and your friends breakfast. Want to help?" Yongi said
"Sure" Mei said
"We would love to" Himeko said as she smiled
"Hehe that's great. Let's go" Yongi said as he walked the girls out the room. Mei glanced at the picture one more time and looked away
Black hair...green eyes...where have I seen that before?

"N-no..." Yuzu mumbled as tears streamed down her face. The lavender eyed woman smirked devilishly as she grabbed the elderly woman. Yuzu's eyes widen and trembled as she pinned her ears down
"STOP IT! LET HER GO!" Yuzu shouted as she ran up to the woman but froze in place as the blood splattered everywhere. The werecat held the heart in hand and smirked as she dropped the dead body before stepping on it
"Gr-grandma..." Yuzu mumbled as she trembled and cried
"Now your turn..." The werecat giggled. Yuzu cried and began to run away from the monstrous werecat. She felt a force grab her and gasped seeing shadows wrapping around her. The crying girl faced the monstrous beast and trembled as the woman held the beating heart
"G-GET AWAY FROM ME!" Yuzu shouted and squirmed around
"Hehehehe...what a little crybaby puppy. You are one pathetic Okogi. A weak, worthless, weakling..." The woman said as got closer. Yuzu closed her eyes tightly and felt the woman grab her throat
"Open wide little pup" The woman said as her eyes darkened
"N-NO! STOP! STOP! AAAAAAAAAAH!" Yuzu shouted

"A-AAAAAAAAAAH! AHHHHHHHHH!" Yuzu cried loudly as she woke up and grabbed her head. The door opened and her mother rushed inside
"Yuzu!" Ume said. Yuzu was kicking and crying as she grabbed her head. Ume's eyes glowed and kneeled down to hold her daughter
"LET GO! LET GO MONSTER!" Yuzu cried
"Sweetie! It's your mother!" Ume said and cupped her cheeks. Yuzu opened her eyes and sniffed as she began to calm down
"M-mom?" Yuzu asked as she trembled. Ume teared up since she hated seeing her daughter in the state she was in. She hugged her tightly and Yuzu hugged her back not wanting to let go
"Sh-she is...b-back..." Yuzu cried
"Shhhh there there...everything is okay. Your mother is here..." Ume whispered as she stroked her hair softly. Yuzu only trembled as she gripped onto her mother's clothes and closed her eyes tightly then buried her face on her mother's shoulder
"I-it was scary...m-mom" Yuzu whimpeted
"Don't worry Yuzu...it's okay. You are safe in here" Ume said. Yuzu lifted her head and looked around her room a bit
"Th-thank you mama. I-I love you" Yuzu whimpered
"I love you too sweetie. Are you hungry?" Ume asked
"Y-yes please...spicy curry" Yuzu said as she smiled weakly. Ume looked at her and smiled softly while stroking her cheek softly then wiped her tears away
"Of course I'll make you your favorite curry" Ume said and kissed her head soft
"I'll be back okay?" Ume asked. Yuzu looked at her and replied with a nod
"O-okay" Yuzu said. Ume smiled and stood back up. She headed to the door and stepped out of the room leaving Yuzu behind. Yuzu's ears twitched a bit and looked around the room. She trembled a bit before getting out of bed and poked her head out the window seeing the smoking skys and flaming rock lava. Yuzu sighed deeply and sat down on the floor before letting out a soft cry. She covered her face and sobbed quietly while clenching her chest
"Gr-grandma...I'm s-sorry...this is be-all my fault. I-I did this..." Yuzu whimpered
