Classic enemies to lovers, anyone?
I honestly would not consider this if it weren't for that one episode in season 5 where Apple Bloom actually feels sympathy for Diamond Tiara because of her dumb bitch of a mom. The episode itself wasn't.. that good, in my opinion. It was kind of cheesy, and there was a LOT of singing, which younger me didn't like at all. Despite that, it is pretty changing for the whole series, because the CMC get their cutie marks and we see Diamond's motive for being such a valley girl.
I've never read any comic that really focuses on Diamond or the CMC, but according to Diamond Tiara's wiki she confides in Apple Bloom.
Yeah. That's about all their notable positive interactions. There isn't really much material to base this ship on. I find it cute anyway. I would give it a 5/10. It might even be an OTP for me some day. I can definitely see it happening.
