Chapter 8: birthday surprises

Nash: morning beautiful
Maggie: morning *kisses Nash* what are we doing today
Nash: well we check out at noon and then im going to drop you off at your house and then a few hours after that we have dinner with your parents
Maggie: ok can we order room service
Nash: sure babe what do you want
Maggie: French toast and hot chocolate
Nash: *calls room service* hi I would like to order one order of French toast and hot chocolate and one order of waffles. Thank you very much sir
*few hours later*
Nash's POV:
Nash: *calls cam* hey
Cam: hey whats up
Nash: can you come over in like 10 mins
Cam: sure on my way
Nash:*ends call*
*10 mins later*
Cam: so whats up
Nash: well don't tell anyone this but today I am gonna ask Maggie's dad for her hand in marriage
Cam: wow, how long have you two been dating
Nash: a year ago tomorrow
Cam: isn't tomorrow her birthday
Nash: yea I was thinking of proposing to her tomorrow
Cam: well if her dad gives you permission. Nash I gotta go my mom needs me
Nash:k see ya later dude
Nash:*goes to maggie's house* hello Mr. Diamond can I speak to you about something
Mr. Diamond: what's on your mind Nash
Nash: well me and your daughter have known each other for awhile now and I was wondering if I could ask for your permission to ask Maggie to marry me
Mr. Diamond: Nash your a good kid and I can see that you two love each other deeply. The past 12 hours she has talked about you nonstop and I'm looking forward to having you as my future son in law.
Nash: wait what
Mr. Diamond: Nash you have my permission and blessing to propose to Maggie
Nash: OMG thank you
Mr. Diamond: now I think you have a girl to propose to
Nash: thank you again very much sir and I promise I will treat her like my princess
*at the dinner*
Mrs. Diamond: so Nash how long have you done Magcon
Nash: about 6 months but it's getting canceled soon
Mr. Diamond: Nash if you two were to get married how you would treat Maggie
Nash: I would treat as I would myself. *holds hand* she is my princess that I will never stop loving and I will treat her with the respect every princess deserves and we will get into fights but I will always love her in the end. *checks watch* its getting late I probably should head home.
Mrs. Diamond: oh ok its been a pleasure having you here nash
Maggie: I'll walk you out

Nash: so
Maggie: what are we doing tomorrow?

Nash's POV:
Today's the day I am going to ask Maggie to marry me.today I also her 20th birthday and I am really nervous
Maggie's POV:
It's my 20th birthday today and I have no idea what Nash has planned for today.*phone rings*
Maggie:*answers phone* hey
Patricia: hey girlie happy birthday
Maggie: thanks
Patricia: so what are you and Nash doing tonite
Maggie: I don't know he said it's a surprise
Patricia: I gotta go. I'll call you later bye

*couple hours later:
Nash's POV:
I just got back from picking up the ring and I'm on my way to pick up Maggie. I'm going to take her out for dinner and a walk on the beach where I'm going to propose.
Maggie's POV:
Hi mom & dad
Mom & dad: there's our birthday girl. How's it feel to be 20?
Maggie: not very different
Mom: what are you doing today?
Maggie: spending the day with Nash and he's gonna be here in 5 mins and I might spend the night at his house
Dad: ok mags
*5 mins later*

Nash: dinner

~At Olive Garden~
Nash: here we are *gets out and opens door for Maggie*

Nash: *walks w/ Maggie into Olive Garden* Hi reservation for Grier
Waiter: ah Mr. Grier right this way.
Waiter: may I take your order
Nash: what are you gonna get
Maggie: probably spaghetti
Nash: me too that sounds really good right now
Waiter: alright
Nash: I got you something babe

Nash: open it
*Maggie opens it and sees a diamond infinity sign necklace*
Maggie: oh Nash you didn't have to get me this
Nash: well its 20th birthday so I had to get you something extra special
Maggie: well its beautiful. *phone rings* *answers* hello

Maggie: why
Patricia: you need to see what Nash posted about you
Maggie: ok *ends call and checks insta and sees Nash's post that says "Happy 20th birthday to the most beautiful girl in the world. Im glad I can call you mine baby girl and I love you so much my princess."

Nash:wanna walk on the beach
Maggie: sure

Maggie: Nash this has been the best birthday I have had. And at dinner w/ my parents last night did u really mean that is how you would treat me
Nash: I would treat you even better than that because you're my everything and I do anything to keep you happy. I can't lose you. Magdalena Diamond you're my true love. You're so beautiful and perfect because you just be yourself and I have one yes or no question for you on your 20th birthday *gets down on one knee*
