Murda, just keep the burna

Watch who you servin, watch who you servin"

"I need to tell you something." Bailey spoke while walking over to take a seat on my lap. I've been sitting out by the pool smoking for a good portion of the night trying to prepare myself for what is supposed to be going down tomorrow. She took a large gulp from her glass of wine, making me give her my full attention. I've noticed that Bailey only gets in her wine moods when there's something bothering her, and she's been drinking just as much as I've been smoking.

"What is it?" I put out my blunt and wrapped my arms around her waist.

"Look, I trust you. I'm not talking about us being bound by this contract because honestly after tomorrow I'm not too sure how this contract will still stick. The thing is there's only been three people in my life that I've ever trusted: Cam, my grandma, and my dad. Then to see how easily they abandoned me, also how everything I've been told has a thousand loopholes in it, I lost trust in my grandma and dad. Obviously there have been situations that have tested my trust in you, but besides Cam you're the most trustworthy person in my life right now." I don't know where she's going with all of this, but by the way that she's rambling I can tell it's something serious.

"I know you trust me, baby." The fact that she chose to continue rocking with me after what my dad did to her is proof enough. Of course this marriage is bound by a contract, but us actually being together within this marriage is our decision.

"Understand that I only have you, Jerrell. I don't get to stay here in Jamaica or come back here when things go left. I'm building a life with you and I choose that over anything." Her eyes started watering and I wrapped my arms tighter around her.

"Bailey, what's going on?"

"If everything goes as planned, my dad will be taking out your father and my mother tomorrow. I don't want you to think that I kept this away from you or that I had him do it because of what was done to me. This has been apart of the plan since before I met you. It's one of the reasons why I was so confused when I saw that my father was marrying me off to you. I also don't want you resenting me for what my father is going to do. This has been his revenge plan since he first learned that his then best friend was sleeping with his wife." She paused for a second before continuing.

"There's a loophole in the contract and we can use it to get out of the marriage if you choose to go separate ways after this. I won't hold it against you." I licked over my lips and released my hold on her, reaching over to pick my blunt back up and light it. This conversation is obviously about to get more intense than I anticipated.

"Tell me the details of this plan." I'm tired of hearing about this plan and not knowing what the actual plan is.

"My dad started creating this plan before I was born. He'd had suspicions of my mother being unfaithful, but it took him awhile to find proof and of course he'd never imagined her to be cheating with his best friend. All his anger went into building this plan. It would go into action with the birth of his first child, which is me." I gave her a look, already confused.
