Nenari's POV~
I sat on the shoreline, Ember lying beside me, I pulled out my map. A deep sigh racked my chest as I unfolded the old parchment, Ember whined softly, nudging my arm. I glanced at her then to my map, the Horn of Africa outlined in black ink, labels along the shoreline and markings inland. I traced the coastline with my index finger, my eyes softened reading that message over and over again.
    Ember stood up and lapped my face, I giggled and shoved her muzzle aside, "Hey, Ember," I ruffled between her ears, "I know. I miss her too."
    Ember whined, falling onto my lap and rolling over, showing off her belly. I held a hand over my mouth to subdue my laughter, Ember's big paws stitched up ward and she yelped and panted.
    "Hey, now!" I chided playfully, "Easy, you aren't a puppy anymore!"
    Ember's tongue lapped Nenari's chin, and she laughed, "But you still act like one!" Ember pinned Nenari down and began licking her face vigorously, Nenari sputtered and managed to squirm free before engulfing the wolf-dog in her strong arms and hugging her tightly.
    "Haha, oh, Thank you, Ember." She stroked her fur, "Thank you."
    Nenari then looked at the map again, and her brows furrowed, "The Treasure of One Thousand Golden Tears." she said softly, "I've been after this since . . . " she dared not finish that sentence. This stupid Treasure was the entire reason why Nenari was trapped on this island.
    "What'cha got there?"
Third Person's POV~
    Suddenly the map was jerked from her hands, Nenari whirled in her seat, sand spraying up from her rapid movement. Sinbad stood over her holding the map to the afternoon sun's rays. He peaked a brow, then examined the map,
    "The Horn of Africa." He deduced, peaking a brow and glancing at the black-haired female, "I think I know where this map leads." he said in a sing-song tone.
    Nenari stood, brushing herself off, "I'd be surprised if you didn't know where that map leads." she then held out her hand, "Now, give it back, Sinbad." she chided.
    Sinbad didn't, he instead folded up the map and put it near his heard under his tunic, "Make me." he taunted, smirking.
    Nenari's hand fell to her side, anger bubbling up in her gut. Ember pinned her ears and growled threateningly, tail straight up, Nenari popped her neck, then her knuckles. She squared up her shoulders and huffed out a sigh,
    "So be it." she walked up to Sinbad then grabbed him by the front of his tunic, her teeth showing as she hissed in his face, "You have one chance to hand over that map or else, you'll be one very sorry Thief."
    Sinbad chuckled nervously before saying, "I was just kidding!" He took out the map and held it up, "See? here it is, unharmed and safe."
    Nenari scoffed and snatched the map back, she turned her back to the sailor and walked to the shoreline, gazing out into the horizon. Sinbad hesitantly walked up to her and stood next to her.
    "Uh, Nenari?" he turned to her, "Look, we're pirates," he smirked slightly, "hunting treasure is . . . part of our job, and we can help you find this Treasure."
    Nenari peaked a brow, "The Treasure of One Thousand Golden Tears," she sighed, "That hunt is the sole reason why I was left on this island," she seemed to shake herself from a daze. "Anyways, this Treasure hunt is not to be taken lightly."
    "Hey, sweetheart," Sinbad smirked, "I took on the Goddess of Discord and won, I think we can handle a trip to Africa."
    Nenari turned to him, "You'll need to stop for the appropriate supplies, it's quite the journey, if you plan on embarking on it." she put the map in her bosom and folded her arms.
    Sinbad shrugged, "We'll figure out where we can make anchor for food and supplies!" he wrapped an arm around Nenari, "So," he smiled, "What does this mean?" he asked.
    Nenari sighed in annoyance, "Yes, we can look for this Treasure," she then poked Sinbad in the chest "But if you even think About taking my map again I will break you!" she hissed.
    Sinbad held up his arms in surrender, "Ok, ok . . ." he chuckled nervously.
And so, it had been agreed.
Sinbad, and the crew, along with Nenari and Ember would embark on the quest to find the long lost Treasure of One Thousand Golden Tears.
