Chapter 9

Kara's pov

At the next weekend

As we have talked about it at the restaurant we started to move in together at Lena's apartment. Of course Alex helps me move my stuffs to there.

'Are you sure about this?' she asks shyly

'Why wouldn't I be sure about it?' I thought she is happy about my relationship and yet she asks this

'Because it's a big decision after Mon-el and I'm just afraid that you will get hurt again. I love Lena and I love what you guys have. I don't know, maybe it's just me being a big sister who is now realising that her lil sis is all grown up now'

'It's okay Al, I know it's all new for both of us but I haven't been this happy in my whole life and I know it's the right thing to do even if it's scary'

I place the last item of my stuffs into the box whit a big 'BEDROOM' title on it. It's the last box now my old apartment is empty

'It's so strange like this. I have lived here for about 5 years now after I got it from you and we could empty it in one day' I look at my empty walls sadly

'Yeah because you have used your power' she always knows how to make me laugh

'Let's go home' I say still laughing

I'm aware of what did I said. I feel like this for a while now. On that night when Lee told me she is homeless without me I didn't get it. But after only two weeks into our relationship I realised how she meant it. No matter where I am my home is where she is.

Home means I can hear her heart's beating fast next to me and that her lungs's working harder.

Home means I can smell her scent all over the place.

Home means I can tell her in person how much I love her.

Home means I can wrap my hands around her and keep her there as long as I want.

At Lena's apartment

'Baby, I'm home' I say smiling

'I've missed you so much. Also it's amazing to hear that from your pretty lips of yours. We're officially living together in one household and I couldn't be more happy about it.' She is more happier than I have ever seen her 'Which is why I got you this' she is showing me a key chin with her apartment's key and a title on it

'key to my heart'

'Aww baby, you're so sweet. I love it.'

Sorry for being inactive but you know sometimes life happens and I work so hard to keep it balanced so don't really have free time to write but I'm trying.
