Remus was sat across from James and Sirius. James was moping about Lily, who they had seen sitting with the triplets whispering with Frank Longbottom at the top of the tabled. James had gotten jealous instantly and was now wallowing in self pity.
"Look Jimmy, There are plenty of flowers in the garden. Many of the girls and a few guys throw themselves at us." Sirius whispered. "I don't want anyone else I just want her. She's my everything Si. Her smile lights up any room. I don't think I'll ever love anyone as much as I love her." James burst out in tears. "I know Prongs, I know exactly how you feel. They're always on your mind and even the little things they do makes you think you're heart could burst out your chest any second. It the best feeling in the world but also the worst because they're not yours." Sirius comforted James the pair were sat encased in a hug. Remus looked down the table to see Lily sat staring st them with tears in her eyes it was clear she'd heard every word of James declaration.
"Padfoot I'm sure James will be ok while we go search for Wormtail." Remus urged. "Moony James is in the middle of a crisis and you want me to abandon him." Remus indicated towards Lily with his heard. Realisation dawn on sirius' face. "I'm getting concerned." Remus added. "Ok Prongs you gonna be alright mate?" Sirius asked. James sniffled and nodded weakly . The pair stood up Sirius placed a small kiss on his head and added, "We'll see you later."
Sirius and Remus left both looking back to see Lily sitting down next to James. After they left, Remus and Sirius decided to go for a walk on the snow covered grounds.
"It's so peaceful, I'm glad you agreed to stay at Hogwarts this year." Sirius broke the silence. "I don't mind Siri. None of us do. I actually prefer it since I don't have to worry about hurting James' parents on a full moon. James gets to spend time following Lily around the castle playing dad. Peter loves the Christmas feasts and sneaking off with Marlene. And I get to spend time with you." The pair headed towards the lake as the snow grew stronger and it became near impossible to see. They struggled towards the whopping willow. Remus lead Sirius inside.
They made there way to the one of the only rooms in the shack that wasn't destroyed or layered in dust. It was the very top room Remus had renovated in 3rd year as an escape to study.

Sirius flopped straight down on the bed. Remus just rolled his eyes and placed his bag down my the armchair. "Prongs is so getting some tonight." Sirius giggled. "Sirius do you always have to be so crude." Remus replied lighting the fire. "I guess we're stuck here until the blizzard yields." Sirius glancing out the large window. "Yep, now I have an essay I can get on with." Remus headed to his desk. Sitting down with fantastic beasts and where to find them.
Sirius was extremely bored after 20 minutes. He decided to play the piano. He began to play a song he hadn't played for months if not years. Remus froze up he turned around his chair to see Sirius with his eyes closed playing a beautiful melody. Remus couldn't help but memorise every inch of Sirius he grabbed his camera and took a photo. While the photo developed Remus walked over and sat next to Sirius.
"You haven't played in a while Siri." Remus commented when Sirius finished. "Why now?" "I just needed to. it was like an itch I couldn't scratch until I played." Sirius explained. "It was beautiful. You were always amazing at the piano. It's like your at peace it makes you look younger less worrisome. I love seeing you like that so carefree." Remus explained. Sirius found himself staring at Remus' lips using every ounce of control not to lean in and claim Remus' lips for his own. He began to lean forward a fraction when Remus' licked his lips but managed to pull back.
Remus noticed this, he also notice Jam from breakfast on Sirius' bottom lip. He ran his thumb over Sirius' lip, scooping up the jam he then brought his thumb to his lips, licking of the Jam. "You had a little jam." Remus smirked at Sirius' lust filled eyes. Something in Sirius snapped.
Sirius mouth was moving passionately against Remus'. Tounges were tangled and clothes were removed. Remus picked Sirius up and carried him to the bed throwing him down on the mattress. Before removing the last remaining items of clothing, Sirius did the same. The pair became lost in themselves forgetting the world around them. The only thing that mattered was want, desire and lust.
The sun had long set and the fire had died down. It was clear the two boys had missed lunch and dinner. The pair looked around the room from the tangled position on the bed. The desk had been cleared the stationary littered the floor. Remus couldn't help but think how lucky he was that is ink wells and quils were stored in the draws of the desk. The pillows from the bed were scattered everywhere one even been ripped in two. Sirius had heard rumours of how animalistic Remus was in bed. Ellis Wood, Holly Gowdy, Mary O'Connor, Travis Robberts, Dean, Mary and Samual Campbell could all confirm those rumours.
Sirius felt sick to his gut as realisation washed over him that in the morning he would be nothing more then a one night stand. Most people knew Remus got around and they were right about that, they also believed Sirius was an even bigger player and slept with dozens of girls a week but they were wrong. He flirted a lot and bragged about imaginary conquests but in all honesty Sirius before tonight was a virgin.
"Your thinking too hard." Remus smirked pressing a kiss against Sirius' swollen lips. "It's nothing, just tired." Sirius smiled weakly. "Go sleep then." Remus smiled lying down as sleep claimed them.
