Atlantis.
Atlantis is about Kida, the lost princess of The Empire of Atlantis. It is partially a cross over between Disney and The Vampire Diaries you could say. Mainly the only thing taken from Disney is the background of Kida, and Kida herself. Kai, and Kaapo I have created on my own. The art found, and used to aid in help bring my imagination to life all credit goes to their respective owners. The originals, and Vampire diaries also obviously are not mine, along with Disney.

Kidagakash Nedakh; Kida, the lost Queen of Atlantis is by far the most cherished and respected Atlantean royal to be born from the Island. The noble woman is constantly compared to the Great King Enas, that established Atlantis and created the Nedakh bloodline. When King Enas had conquered the sacred land that had a soul of its own. He impressed the Gods, who were enthralled by the selflessness of the man and his pure heart and soul.
Because of this, the gods not only blessed the land and it's people, but Poseidon himself blessed the Nedakh bloodline and the Gods gave the nobles pieces of the Heart of Atlantis; fragments of a comet that the gods blessed.
Due to the Kingdoms prosperity, technological advancements, and power many grew jealous of the Atlantans. Because of this hatred and greed Atlantis had begun to close its gates in fear of losing its knowledge and people learning of the Heart of Atlantis.
After many centuries of isolationism, Atlantis opened its gates once more, and began to use its technology to gain dominance over other lands. They established themselves as a dominant untouchable figure in the world, creating colonies and subjugating the people there. With their fearsome Martags and artificially-intelligent leviathans they waged war like no other.
However their hubris became their undoing, and an accidental discharge created the great flood, also known as the First Fall. The Heart of Atlantis would only save part of the city, and it would descend into the depths of the sea, and deep into the earth. A day full of mass devastation.
Due to the arrogance of King Kashekim Atlantis not only became forgotten, but also lost its Queen that day. Mother of Atlantis, who was greatly cherished by her people. The Crystal chose her as an energy source in order to be able to create a protective barrier along the city, due to her pure heart. Overcome with tremendous guilt and shame after losing his only soul mate, the king had began to fall into a fit of madness. Further making the future of Atlantis seem all the more dark.
As many years passed majority of the people had forgotten the pain of that day, and soon the Island had chosen its rightful ruler, Kidagakash Nedakh. Weeks before her crowning, her father had finally succumbed to his insanity, allowing the Mages of the house of Rihamon to usurp the kingdom under his guidance and a false promise to resurrect the Queen if they were given the throne to Atlantis.
The day they ravaged the kingdom was a day Kida could never forget, they forced her out of her own home. Leaving meant Atlantis would be left without a strong and legitimate ruler, and the usurpers had the right to claim the throne. However she knew that if she didn't leave, Atlantis would truly be lost forever.
Her father had been killed during the chaos, she only knew this as when she was escaping during the usurpation cries rang through the city of "the mad king is dead!"
As Atlantis fell once more the gods wept, though their tears could no longer reach the broken island and it's people. And the Heart of Atlantis embellished itself within Kida, the final chosen. The one that would fulfill the prophecy of Atlantis.

I want to add, that before you read, I have switch some parts of the vampire diaries, majority of it has remained the same plot but certain aspects I felt would aid in making the story flow smother and collide better. I'm sorry to any of those that are upset, but I promise it'll be worth it ♡
