It was a nice sunny day at Hopes Peak.
You were just sitting in the library thinking of what you should read. You were in fact the ultimate reader so it was hard to pick a book that you haven't already read. Looking at all the books on the bookshelves you hear someone burst in the library followed by a wave of shushes from people reading. You look to see who it is and you see it is your chaotic friend and not so secret crush. Everyone and you mean EVERYONE knew you liked Kazuichi, except Kazuichi himself. He couldn't get it through his thick skull that you liked him and he honestly had no idea. Slowly Kazuichi made his way over to you trying to catch his breath. "Y/N guess what I got" Kazuichi practically screamed in your ear. "Calm down" you told him after getting several dirty looks from people in the library. "What" you whispered back to him adjusting the cute sweater you were wearing and then adjusting the shirt underneath afterwards. "I got tickets to the fair that's coming this weekend" he whisper yelled, earning only a few glares this time. "And?" You inquired. "Well I want you to come with me" he said standing back smiling like an idiot. You sighed, you couldn't resist his adorable grin. "Fine" you said trying to sound and look mad but you quickly broke out in a grin and let a few giggles slip out. He blushed and quickly looked to the side before you could see. He quickly took your hand smiling bigger before dragging you out of the library to the quite hallway. He quickly placed something in your hand and started running away, with a quick look back, small jump, and bright smiled he said, "see you then!" You slowly unfolded your hand and there was a small robot to keep you company. You looked at it smiling like an idiot knowing he made it with his amazing talent and just for you. After you quickly ran to your dorm and placed the small robot on your desk to remind you of your goofy, adorable friend. Soon enough it's Saturday and you hear someone banging on your door. "I know it's you Kazuichi I still need to get ready!" You yell, hearing a groan in response. "Fine" he responded, you just smiled. You get out of bed and start to do your morning routine. After you checked yourself in the mirror one last time and headed out of your decorated dorm you locked the door. "Finally Y/N" Kazuichi grumbled, "you took forever!" "Shut up!" You smiled pushing his shoulder and then offering a hand to help him up. He took your hand causing both of you to blush and look away, you then pulled him up from the slumped position he was in against the wall by your dorm. "Let's go" you smiled linking arms with him, earning an enthusiastic  "ya" from him. You both walked over to the fair and Kazuichi handed the ticket persons your tickets. Once you got in you looked around in awe. Kazuichi looked over at you and smiled fondly, you looked over him and he quickly looked away. "Hey I want to see your cute face" you said bravely quickly blushing at what you just said.  He just pouted and shook his head cutely crossing his arms. "Fine" you huffed, he quickly turned to you and hugged you, "wanna play some games?" He asked, "ya!" You said as he released you from the hug. You and Kazuichi spent all day together, eating, playing games, going on rides, buying things, and talking. It was one of the best days of your life. It was sunny and bright just like him. After when you were walking back to the dorms while holding hands you look over to him and smile. "You know I like you" you said, "of course I like you too, your my best friend" he responded. "No that's not what I meant" you said, "then what did you mean?" He responded tilting his head like a confused puppy. You stop walking and take both his hands, "I love you, you are the sunshine to my darkest days" He suddenly starts crying, confused and concerned you hug him and wipe his tears. "What's wrong?" You say concerned, "no one has ever said that about me" he says wiping his tears away with no success. All you can do is hug him in the bright moonlight. "Hey Y/N will you be my girlfriend?" Kazuichi suddenly asked you cupping your face in his hands. "Of course!" You said happily looking up at him. "I love you Y/N" he said before suddenly kissing you sweetly in the bright light of the moon.
