You sighed as you started walking towards the room Nagito had been tied up in. You were carrying his breakfast on a tray. There was bacon, eggs, toast, and a glass of orange juice.

You had already eaten breakfast and you had been asked by Chiaki if you could feed him instead because she was busy.

Being the nice friend you were, you agreed, how bad could Nagito be anyway. Before he was tied up, Nagito and yourself were aquinted with each other.

He would go on small rants and you would sit and listen, adding something to the conversation every once in a while.

Quickly knocking on the door you heard a small "come in" from Nagito.
You opened the door only to see Nagito lying face down on the floor all tied up.

You quickly gasped helping him up, he may be crazy, but he is still a person and your friend.

"Here," you said placing the tray down in front of him. You were about to get up to leave until you felt a small tug at your foot and heard a small whimper.

Confused and concerned, you turned around to see Nagito trying to inch his way towards you.

"Um, I can't feed myself, because I'm kinda all tied up" he said awkwardly looking away. "Can you, um, feed me maybe" he continued. You awkwardly looked away embarrassed.

You slowly sat down in front of Nagito and asked, "what would you like first?"

"Anythings fine" he replied with a crazed smile. You picked up the fork that was set on the tray before scooping up some eggs and putting them into his open mouth. Waiting for him to swallow his food you quietly hummed to yourself.  

~Time Skip~

Eventually, Nagito had finished his breakfast, as you were about to leave with the tray he stopped you once again.

"You didn't have to do this for trash like me, sorry for taking up your precious time!" He stated, only for you to turn around to look at him surprised.

"You are not trash!" You retorted back, "plus making sure you were actually able to eat was not a waste of time."

Deciding to stay by Nagito, you sat across from him setting the tray down once again. "Now we are going to hang out because you are not a waste of my time!" You stated firmly, determination in your eyes.

"Waste of time" he stated carelessly, "never" you challenged.

Eventually, you got him to stop degrading himself for the moment and have an actual conversation with you. You two talked about everything going on, what you would do once you got out, how you truly felt being in this situation, and eventually it ended in Nagito on another crazy hope tangent.

It would have felt normal if it wasn't for him being on his side, tied up, and asking if you also wanted to see everyone developed in hope. 

"Don't you want everyone to just live in hope, wouldn't that be great, no me in their magnificent godly lives, no annoying trash around, wouldn't that be great Y/N?"

Before you could utter a word he continued, "or what about not having some freak or trash wishing to even be close to you, to hold you in his arms, and have you all to himself, I bet that would bring you so much hope Y/N." Nagito continued as you looked at him confused trying to figure out his words.

You suddenly realized what Nagito had said, and it hit you like a truck. Your face turned bright red as you turned to Nagito who was just mumbling on his side at this point.

"Wait did you mean that" you stuttered out looking everywhere but his eyes. "Huh" he stated, "about wanting to hold me close" you stuttered still averting eye contact.

"Because maybe I would like them back" you continued, playing with your fingers awkwardly.

Nagito just looked at you surprised, "well maybe that trash I was talking about was me." "And what if I said that person was not trash and that maybe I wouldn't mind being held close by him." You stated leaning closer to Nagito.

Before he could say anything you quickly engulfed Nagito in a big bear hug surprising him. You had closed your eyes, so when you finally opened them you were met with tears streaming down Nagito's face.

You quickly wiped them away. "No one has ever said that to me" he said continuing to cry.

All you did was hug him tighter.

"I love you Nagito" you said.

"I love you too Y/N" Nagito said back leaning into you more.
