Waiting for Baekhyun had always looked like a hobby of hers, seeing how much she did it on a daily basis, but she had always hated it. Haru had always longed for Baekhyun to arrive faster everytime, and that day was no exception. She had written what she could for the rest of her novel, and had been lazying around the sofa, switching channels faster than Kai's turns.

It was then that her phone rang again, and when she was all giddy, suspecting it was Baekhyun, she was let down when the Lee Taehyung guy's phone number popped up her screen.

The channel on TV stopped at a home shopping channel, something Haru wouldn't mind for a few minutes (give them an hour, and Haru could memorize all the product details considering how many times the host repeats them), and Haru switched the remote for her phone, unlocking it.

The text read, "Oh. haha. That's fine. None taken. But its still great to have a new acquaintance, I heard you're a writer?"

Unsure if he was still texting her back because he was genuinely interested in being 'friends' or just being polite, Haru thought of a response. She typed one in that she thought wouldn't lead anyone on, but still caring enough to be polite.

"Yeah, kind of. You?"

As Haru hit send, new message popped up her notifications, and this one definitely brought her lips up to her cheeks.

"Hey, babe. Finished quicker. On the way now."

Haru typed in a quick response, hoping he could catch it before he would start driving back.

"I'll be waiting! Have you eaten?"

After fifteen minutes passed without an answer from Baekhyun, Haru slouched that she didn't get to hear back from him before he drove, but as she thought of his rush to come home to her, the room brightened up again.

Haru decided to bring her laptop back downstairs, a sense of motivation passing through her core as she typed in more things to go with her novel. It felt a bit rushed and lacking in many unexplainable ways, but Haru decided she could always revise that next time. Progress was made, and as she continued to dwell on her laptop, her phone rang once more. This time, she didn't exect Baekhyun, because from where he was, it was going to take a while before he would arrive.

The name on the message was Lee Taehyung once more, and Haru opened the message curiously.

"Cool. I produce, for now I work with as co-producer with many other people. I hear you write scripts, too? I can help read and review those for you."

Her latest manuscript submission pssed through her head as she read the message, thinking that it was a good thing Minyoung-sunbae had introduced this guy, afterall. He seemed friendly, too.

"Will you, really? I'll send the file over if its not too much?"

She didn't need to wait long for another response after she sent hers. Haru was relieved the conversation didn't go ways she didn't want it to go, and that Lee Taehyung was a pretty decent guy to talk with. She received another text telling her his email and that she should send it, with an additional notion that he loved reading new scripts - it was the reason he wanted to be a producer in the first place.

Dragging her mouse and sending her manuscript through email, Haru felt a relieved sensation that her nervousness since lunch with Minyoung-sunbae seemed to have subsided. Now that crisis was averted, was it still necessary for her to share her relationship with Minyoung-sunbae?

Does Baekhyun even need to know?

Haru didn't have more time to consider when she heard the gates were peeling itself to the sides and a car drove into the garage. Her steps didn't hesitate even a little bit as Haru zoomed her way down to the garage to greet her boyfriend. Baekhyun had just turned his car lights off when she reached the garage, and as soon as he stepped out and closed the door, Haru greeted him with a hug.

"Welcome home," she mumbled into his neck. He chuckled as he held her and pecked her forehead in return. "Miss me much?"

She looked up to him, finding him wearing his usual mischievous smile as he stared into her eyes. "Like you don't know," Haru replied, snuzzling closer into his chest.

"I'd love to keep hugging you, but there's a better room upstairs we can cuddle in, equipped with a couch, or bed, whichever room you were thinking of," Baekhyun rambled, his lips touching the crown of her head.

"I was actually thinking of ramyeon, would you like some?"

Baekhyun pulled her face closer, making her face him. Her question still unanswered, Baekhyun pulled in for a short peck on her lips then smiled cheekily.

"I love how you read my mind."

Haru loved his cheekiness, his playfulness, his romantic and caring side, and she'd do anything to keep having these moments with him. "Byunbaek, we both know that wasn't the thing on your mind."

"You're right," he chuckled, his eyes looking directly at her. "I was thinking of something yummier."

Haru caught the innuendo he was implying and gasped, "Baekhyun!"

He laughed, not denying her thoughts. Instead, he held her face again and rested his forehead against her, leading them back to the original conversation. "Let's go boil those noodles, hm?"

Haru nodded and held his hand as they made their way inside the house.
