Like Before (a pregame saiouma story)

Part 1

*third person*

It was a seemingly normal day at the Ultimate Academy. There had been no deaths yet, to Monokuma's dismay. Most of the students were still concerned about the thought about having to kill each other. So there was a little but of tension between everyone, but not much.

All of the students were in the cafe eating. But then suddenly, there was a announcement from Monokuma. The students were quickly relieved to find out nobody died... yet. So they were all pretty confused about what Monokuma was going to say.

"Students, please come down to the gym immediately. This is one truly special announcement, witch will effect the entire killing game before it even mainly started."

Most of the students let out a groan.

"Oh come on, you all should be happy! Maybe this change will help things go better for you all. Maybe there won't be as many deaths."

"Ugh, what does that psycho bear need us to do now."

"I know I shouldn't be but... I'm really concerned."

"What will happen now?"

Everyone started to slightly panic.

"What does he mean that this will effect the while killing game? Nobody's even died yet. What's going to happen that will be so special? What could Monokuma be up to already? How will it effect the trials?"

Kokichi looked around the room and couldn't help but notice Shuichi thinking to himself. He wasn't really to surprised.

"So Saihara Chan, what do you think is gonna happen?"

Shuichi was surprised to see Kokichi suddenly next to him. He broke him out of his thought.

"Oh, I'm not sure. That's what I was trying to think about."

Kokichi couldn't help but smile at Saihara's so obvious comment.

"Well, maybe if we go down we'll find out. Did you ever think about that Mr Detective."

Shuichi was slightly annoyed by Kokichi's statement. Like just going down was something he hadn't thought about. It wasn't to long before Shuichi started to walk towards the gym. Leaving Kokichi behind.

Kokichi suddenly runs after him.

"Aw Saihara Chan, you're so mean! How dare you leave me behind."

Shuichi suddenly stopped in his place so Kokichi could catch up to him. He wasn't in the mood to be harassed by him at that moment.

"You shouldn't just give into him like that Shuichi."

Both of them looked over somewhat startled to see Maki walking infront of of them. She clearly heard the entire conversation.

"Well, if it isn't the Ultimate Assassin-"

"Don't start Kokichi. Nobody is in the mode for your lies."

And before Kokichi could let out a witty remark Maki walked by Kokichi and Shuichi. Without saying another word.
