Jeongin sighed again when he looked at his phone. Nayeon's still not replying to his messages and it's getting him more worried. What if her boyfriend misunderstood it and they fought? What if her boyfriend told her to stay away from him? What if Nayeon starts ignoring him?

He pulled his hair in frustration as he let his body fell down on his bed. He should get going instead of procrastinating or he will be late for school.

So he immediately fixed himself. And when he heard Felix's voice downstairs, he's already finished preparing. He went down as they left the house and starts heading to Seungmin's.

As they were getting closer to Seungmin's house, he couldn't help but to get nervous. He doesn't know if Nayeon will treat him normal or will she ignore him? He's nervous. But he still want to make sure if she's alright. He knows too much happened to her last night. Her dad, her boyfriend, and maybe him. 'Cause he was the cause of their fight.

But when they're just few meters to Seungmin's house, someone chatted on their group chat. It was Seungmin.

Seungmin: Jeongin, Felix, I can't go with you today. We're on the way to hospital. See you guys, later.

"Oh, he's not there." Felix said, looking at his phone. "On the way to hospital? Do you know what happened?"

Jeongin shook his head. "No idea."

Felix nodded. "What could've happened?"

He shrugged. "We should go, we're getting late. Seungmin will tell us about it later." Jeongin said, he continued walking as Felix follows him.

He thinks he knows why they are going to hospital. Maybe it's because of Nayeon's dad.

"Oh, right." Felix stopped in front of a convenience store near their school. "I'll just buy a snack. Wait for me here." he said as he quickly enter the store.

Jeongin sat on a chair , he took out his phone and checked his messages again.

He sighed. "She's still not replying..."

"Still not replying who?"

He lifted his head and he saw Chaeryeong standing next to him.

He stand up with all speed, preparing to explain himself. "H-hey, I'm sorry. About last time, I didn't mean it—"

"No, it's fine." she cut him off as she walked towards him. "I understand. I'm sorry I overreacted."

"No, I was really a jerk. I'm really sorry, Chaeryeong."

Chaeryeong smiled at him that turned into chuckle. "Okay, forgiven."

Jeongin slowly smiled. "I will never do that again. I'm really sorry."

Chaeryeong rolled her eyes. "Stop saying sorry. Besides, I have a plan. Let's make your friends think that we're dating or something's going on between us, so they will never think that you like Seungmin's sister."

"No, I told you I will never do that again. I won't use you."

"It's not 'using', Jeongin. I am helping you. Don't take it that way, okay?"

Jeongin let out a heavy breath. Tempted to accept her offer but he's worried about her.. that's unethical. And.. "What if.. what if you fa—"

"No. I won't fall for you." Chaeryeong smiled at him confidently. "So...?"

Jeongin sighed before he finally nodded. "Okay, fine." he smiled. "Thank you."

She slapped his arm. "Now tell me the updates. Any improvements? Is she starting to like you?"

He put his hands in his pockets. "I told you that I indirectly asked her out, right?"

"Right."

"Well... Last night, I saw her. Accidentally. At the park. I was about to walk away but I saw her crying so I went to her, and comforted her. And then, she hugged me—"

"She what????!" Chaeryeong asked exaggeratedly.

"She—"

"OMG! She hugged you! I'm so happy for you!!!"

Jeongin put his index finger on his lips as he tried to silence her. "Don't shout. I know. I know. That's what I felt too last night. More than that, actually. But, we got interrupted."

Chaeryeong's brows furrowed. "By whom?"

"By her boyfriend."

Her jaw fell. "That's awful."

"I know. I know."

"What happened next? Did he punched you?"

"No, luckily. He just gave me a dead look and then he left. And of course, Nayeon noona followed him. So I was trying to message her, asking her if she's okay, but she's not answering."

Chaeryeong leaned on the table. "Hmmm... Maybe they fought and then her boyfriend wants her to stay away from you."

"See!" Jeongin exclaimed. "That's what I'm thinking too!"

"But it could be also something else. Chill. Maybe she's confused right now. Give her time."

Jeongin sighed as he sat on the chair. "Alright. But if she won't still reply to me 'till midnight, I'm really going to talk to her personally tomorrow."

Chaeryeong chuckled a little. "That's it, lover boy."

Jeongin threw her a dagger loook. "Don't call me that."

Chaeryeong smirked. "Why? It suits you. Nayeon eonni's lover boy." she chuckled.

Jeongin then slowly smiled. "Agh. That's cringe."

She laughed. "But it's true. You're her lover boy."

Jeongin couldn't help but to laugh too. Well, she's right. He is indeed Nayeon's lover boy.

"Jeongin!"

He lifted his head and he saw Seungmin waving at him while heading to his direction.

He smiled and waved back at him but what caught his attention is the car where Seungmin just went out.

"Hey, I thought you're in the hospital?" Jeongin glanced at the car again but it's already leaving.

"My mom insisted that I should go to school." Seungmin shrugged. He looked at Chaeryeong. "Oh, hey there Chaeryeong."

"Hi, Seungmin." she smiled.

"Please be good to my Jeongin, okay?"

"Shut up." Jeongin nudge Seungmin's waist.

Chaeryeong just laughed at them. "Of course, I will."

"Where's Felix anyway?" Jeongin asked when he realized Felix's still not coming out from the store.

"Oh. I saw him. He just went out from the store while we're talking." Chaeryeong said.

Jeongin just shook his head. "That bastard."

"Maybe he just want to give you two a privacy. Should I go too?" Seungmin said with a grin on his face.

Jeongin threw an arm on his shoulder. "You're not going anywhere." he slightly poke Seungmin's head. "We all should go now."

The three of them starts walking to their school while Seungmin still teasing them. But there's still something bugging Jeongin. So he couldn't help but to ask.

"Is that Jaebum hyung? That drove you here?" he asked.

"Nah. It's Nayeon noona. She used hyung's car tho."

"Oh." was all he said before they came back from teasing Jeongin again. But his mind's already on something else.
