Hi everyone!! I know it's been a long long time, but I was reading through some of my old work and it made me want to write something new. I still love this book so much and I want to thank you all for loving it too:)
That being said, let's do this!

Late nights are always so tough. The feeling of dragging your feet, just begging to be done and to not have to take care of anything before going to bed. Laying down, something felt a bit strange. A slight crinkle could be heard. He lifts the pillow up just slightly so he doesn't disturb you and pulls out a torn envelope.

The paper inside was covered in a few wet splotches. He skips to the last paragraph. "...He doesn't need to know. Remember, if you do this right, he won't be accused of committing fraud. You hide your evidence, and I'll hide mine. And don't worry, I'll bring proof that I kept my end of the bargain to your jail cell once  you're found guilty."

He looks up at you, noticing the tear stains on your sleeping face.

Phoenix:
-he doesn't hesitate to shake you awake, asking what this is all about
-he immediately calls Apollo and Athena, asking them to discreetly (as discreet as they can be, at least) look into the situation in the morning
-holds you close, convincing you that you are far more important than his job. Besides, it's an Anything Agency, he doesn't need his attorney badge to be there anyway

Edgeworth:
-tucks the paper away to have the handwriting analyzed
-he lays down with you, but he can't get a wink of sleep
-coming up with ways to bring it up to you gently in the morning
-from then on, he did the impossible and spent even more time at work, spending every last second preparing for your trial

Apollo:
-he immediately begins to cry when he imagines how distressed you must be
-hugs you so tightly and so close to him that you wake up super scared
-"I have no idea what's going on, but I'm so sorry you're going through this because of me," his words get muffled because of how tightly he's pressing his face into your hair

Klavier:
-"Oh, fräulein"
-he folds it up gently, tucking it into his bag before laying down with you
-he won't bring it up until he needs to, but he will find out who is behind this.
-you noticed his demeanor shift; he seemed far more protective over you, and much more affectionate. You never questioned it though. You just enjoyed every second

Kristoph:
-he recognized the handwriting. He didn't know where from, but he knew.
-he didn't end up sleeping that night, but when you woke up, he was laying next to you. You noticed that the paper was missing, however
-your trial was postponed, and before the second date, new evidence was "discovered," so there was a new suspect

Blackquill:
-he holds the paper tightly, feeling it slice his skin
-he just stared at your sleeping figure, thinking of everything you were going through for him. All for him.
-he looked into the case as much as he could, and when the trial rolled around, he intentionally did such a lousy job that even Cykes-dono could prove you not guilty. They managed to work together and figure out who was behind it all as the trial went on

Godot:
-he could feel his world turn upside-down. Someone was trying to put you through this?
-key word trying. We all know Godot would do whatever it takes to get to the bottom of this case.
-before your trial date arrived, the trial for the blackmailing attempt was held, and they were found guilty, so you could both sleep easy

Nahyuta:
-he immediately whispered a prayer for your safety. It was his priority above all. Above himself and his career. Above justice and figuring out who was doing this. He just cared about you
-he was a firm believer that everything would work out. You had a conversation in the morning about the whole thing, and he firmly believed that the Holy Mother would guide the situation to where it needed to be
-during the trial, the prosecution's case completely fell apart; you showed up nowhere in the victim's last moments during the divination séance, there was very little evidence indicting you, and it felt silly that the trial was being held. Needless to say, you were very quickly proven not guilty.
