hajime's pov

"what time is it..?" i mumbled, sitting up in my bed. i rubbed my eyes and stared at the clock for a second or two, before realizing. "oh no,"

and suddenly, kazuichi kicks my door open. "hajime!! we're late for school!!" he practically yells at me, making chiaki jump next to me.

"yeah i know that, dipshit!" i groan, slowly getting up. "do you mind?" i say, as i see kazuichi still standing at my door. i make a hand gesture to shoo him off.

"oh my bad, bro." he turned around, closing the door behind him. as he left i went into my bathroom to change. chiaki mumbled about changing in my room, to which i responded with a low "okay".

after a while, we all got ready and went to school. as we walked, chiaki and kazuichi were talking about animal crossing. peko and fuyuhiko were talking about something related to the kuzuryuu clan. which left me with nagito beside me.

"hajime," he began, glancing at me as we walked. "i was gonna ask you—"

"YO CHIAKI, NAGITO WANTS TO STEAL YOUR MAN—" kazuichi suddenly yelled out of nowhere. chiaki rolled her eyes, as she continued to play her game.

i could hear nagito laugh from beside me, and as i looked at him, i could've sworn my cheeks had gotten hot.

"i would never!" he said, between small laughs.

chiaki smiled a bit, "i trust the both of you." she sounded so sincere, my heart tightened.
