Cien had refused to bite his shoulder. What was this? Up till now Kyon had completely ignored the possibility of Cien being an unwilling feeder. He already bit him once, where did this resistance come from? Maybe at that point he was unconscious???

"Honey, why must I bite you? Won't it hurt? "Cien looked at Kyon , his eyebrows were scrunched up into a frown and he seemed genuinely confused. 

How do I explain this? Kyon had started panicking inwardly... erm...ermmm what do I say?!!! Could it be that Cien did not want to bite me so that he won't hurt me? awww this sweet little child

"Its because my body produces too much blood, so I need someone to take out the extra blood for me" Kyon half lied as he tried to smoothly explain.

Cien's attention was immediately drawn to the word "someone". So it meant that honey would offer his blood to anyone who would take it?? He felt his mood getting worse and worse

Ohno does he not like to suck my blood? Kyon had started worrying as he observed most of the light draining out of Cien's eyes.

Just then, Cien bit down heavily on his neck. Kyon inhaled sharply.

It was the pain that gave birth to something in his nervous system, that felt like a spark of electricity, that grazed over his heart and spread throughout his entire being.

It felt itchy...

He couldn't be getting aroused just by this ??? This is bad . The only time this had happened was when... his thoughts trailed off.

Cien could tell that Kyon's attention was divided and bit on harder, satisfaction when he heard a groan but inside, he was empty because he knew, that that person Kyon was thinking of was not him.

After Cien had fed enough, Kyon was still in a trance. Cien expressionlessly cleaned up and wondered" why do I feel like this?"

 His young 8 year old mind had not matured enough to know what was jealousy, but he knew that he disliked this feeling, very very much. He dried Kyon up and covered him with a bathrobe, took one last look and left. This foreign emotion was hurting his chest, maybe he needed to sleep it off.

When Kyon had snapped out of his trance, he realized he was covered by a robe and that Cien was no where to be found. 

Sigh... he stood up and walked out of the bathroom over to the wardrobe. he got dressed

-this author shall not mention how pretty his wardrobe is cos I know u guys r here for the good stuff and basically it will be boring-

"master, please come down for dinner" the adorable fluff ball floated to him.

The two of them ate in silence, the awkwardness from before drawing an invisible line between them. 

'It seemed that this was the most normal thing that I have done since appearing in this world' Kyon sighed.. I wonder how my brother is doing... he was so sad when Ju left.

:( Rei that was watching this was moved to tears, 'my brother remembers me'

Kyon stared out of the window, there seemed to be ? pink floating lights?

As if he could read his mind, the pink fluff ball explained: those are fikos ,they contain a Neon pink substance in their lower cavity that glows in the dark.

Oh like ancient fireflies!!

A thought crossed Kyon's mind.. wait isn't the welcome sign written by the neon glow in the dark ?paint?  Then he was silent...

Oh well, I might as well enjoy the fir-fikos that are alive. Maybe this is my chance to get closer to Cien, since I am going to register him as my son after all, although he does not know it yet.

"Come Cien, lets go and look at fireflies together"

"fireflies?"In Ciens head ,the image of 2 bugs with lighted butts that had appeared caught him off guard. The image was blurry and unfocused, but it was gone before he could think more about it.

"I mean fikos ahem" The previous sentence was so familiar to him that he had blurted it out unknowingly. 

 In his original world he had kept fireflies. There were 2 fireflies who were particularly attached to each other, and when one of them had stopped lighting up, the other one seemed to go into depression and stopped lighting up soon after. He was pretty sure that the both of them were male but oh well. Things happen. Wasn't it the same with people?

"Ok" Cien agreed, Did he see a pair of fiko somewhere before??
