Erinnert ihr euch noch an das Ende von Schiff der Toten? Die Fierrochaseszene? (Ich werde mir Mühe geben, nicht zu spoilern, keine Sorge.) Als Alex Magnus' Suite verlässt, pfeift er "Fly me to the moon" von Frank Sinatra. (Glaubt zumindest Magnus.) Jeder normale Mensch hat das vermutlich einfach hingenommen. Ich, Neugierdsnase und Faktensammlerin, habe das Lied angehört und mir vor allem den Text durchgelesen...

Schon wieder ein Lied. Diesmal aus Trials of Apollo 4. Und weil das gefühlt noch niemand gelesen hat, erzähle ich nicht mehr vom Kontext, als das Apollo einen Ohrwurm davon hat. Und ich hatte natürlich noch nie davon gehört, (Weil es von einem gewissen Otis Redding und aus dem Jahr 1968 ist.) also habe ich wieder kurzerhand den Text gesucht...

Mhm, mhm. Also, lasst uns das INTERPRETIEREN. Das mit den Schiffen ist wirklich passend... Dann kommt Georgia. Apollo war ja bekanntlich nicht in Georgia, ABER ich bin hobbyloser Weise jetzt auf die Wikipedia-Seite zu Georgia gegangen (das übrigens auch als Pfirsich-Staat bekannt ist) und nicht nur ist die größte Stadt und zugleich Hauptstadt Atlanta, sondern die fünftgrößte Stadt heißt Athens. Zufall? Ich denke schon. Gut, worum es mir mehr geht ist die "Frisco Bay", sprich San Francisco Bay, wo ja bekanntlich das Buch spielt. Ich frag mich echt, ob Rick das Lied nur wegen der Textstelle genommen hat...
