"baby i have to go, cameron is waiting" i said

"one more kiss" said ethan

i smiled and gave him a kiss.
"you little baby" i said

he smiled and layed back on the bed. i left and went to go pick up cameron from school. i looked at the time. 3:15. jesus that's late. i pulled up to her school and she was talking to her friend and i saw a man walking up to them. i parked my car and saw that he was already standing in front of them. i worries and hurried out of the car. cameron being the nice educated kid i raised talked back to him nicely.

"cami!" i said. she smiled and looked at me. she waved bye and walked to me. i saw her friend still talking to the guy. i gave her a hug.

"who was that" i asked not moving

"oh. i don't know. he said that there was puppies behind the school"

i saw her friend following the guy. shit.
"get in the car and lock it. don't let anyone in if it's not me" i said

she nodded and went to the car. i sped walked over to the girl.
"excuse me sir. what are you doing" i asked. they turned around.

he was a white man. brown eyes and blone hair.

"he's taking me to go see the puppies they are selling behind the school"

"sorry she can't go. sweetie, your mom just called me and told me i had to pick you up. my daughter is waiting for you in my car" i said pointing to my car. she saw cami and immediately smiled.

"but the puppies" said the guy. she looked indecisive

"hey lets just ask when the next puppy sell will be to the administration" i said taking the little girls hand and looking the man straight in the eyes.

"next time" he said keeping eye contact. i grabbed the little girls hand.

"yeah let's go ask. all together" i said

"no it's fine" he said. he started to walk away. once he was out of sight i turned around.

"what's your name sweetie" we started to walk to me car

"bella" she said

"bella. if a man you don't know comes up to you and asks you to follow you. you do not go with him unless he can prove that you know him" i said

"why"

"because people can be so mean" i said. cameron saw me and opened the car. i let the little girl in. i asked her where she lived and she said she didn't know. her mom comes at 3:30. i waited for her mom to get to the school in my car.

"cameron same goes to you" i said squatting to go as the same height as her. she looked confused.

"if a man or woman comes up to you and tells you to go with them and they can't prove that they know me or your dad. do not go with them and get to someone who you know."

"what if someone i don't know is there"

"you run" i said

she nodded.
"what if they catch me"

"you don't talk to anyone. you wait for me, one of your uncles or aunts, or your dad finds you. okay" i said

she nodded. we walked into our house and ethan was sitting in the living room. cameron went to go wash her hands. i gave him a kiss and told him what happened. he had a talk with cameron trying not to loose his shit because someone tried to trick cameron.

"i'm sorry" she said and a tear fell from her eye. she looked down. i brought her into a hug.

"you did nothing wrong baby. you didn't know. i should have told you earlier" i said holding her. ethan looked guilty and hugged cameron.

"it's okay cami, you're okay" he said to her. he kissed her forehead and she soon stoped crying . i hate seeing her cry. i just want her to be happy. me and ethan decided to ditch work and just hang out with our daughter for today. it was nice. i wish i could just start over with just these 3. nothing else matters now. just them.

i took out cameron's pink butterfly clips from her hair as she was trying not to fall asleep. i massaged her head after i took out all the rubber bands of her hair. she went to shower and after me and ethan tucked her to bed. she fell asleep immediately after.

i felt ethan's head strike my ass making me jump lightly.
"don't fucking start" i said laughing a bit

he smiled and hugged me as we went to our room.

"it's always when they are the most comfortable when we take what they have" i told my companion. he's a newbie with lots of anger issues, mark.

"remind me what they did again so they we have to hold a 7 year old against their will" mark's a fucking dumbass.

"simple. they killed my fucking brother."
