Am I not lucky? I am.

I’m going to be a father. Tala, my beloved wife, is pregnant. But she doesn’t know I know. I saw her do a pregnancy test last week, and she’s carrying my baby. My baby.

I can’t wait to tell the world that I’m going to have a son or daughter; I’ll also have a surprise prepared for Tala...

~~~~~~~~~~
“And that’s a beautiful goal from the former Barcelona forward! A quick strike outside of the box, a wonder ‘tis! It’s his 12th goal at Arsenal-and look at his celebration! He’s putting the ball up his shirt and rubbing it-it seems that he’s trying to tell everyone that his wife is expecting a baby!”
I grinned. Looking up, Tala’s completely taken back. Her headscarf covered most of her face, but her eyes said it all: “How on earth did you know?” This is the best moment yet. I can’t wait until our baby is born. I can’t wait.
~~~~~~~~~

“Alexis, how did you know? I was planning for a surprise,” Tala asked.

“You suck at surprises, Tal, I found a few pregnancy papers and I saw you do one-a pregnancy test, I mean.”

“Oh.”

“When will you have your first scan?” I askes, a bit too excited.

“Actually, next Tuesday.”

“When did you get-you know, pregnant?”

“Champions League night where, we, uh..”

“I’m not that dumb, Tal. I can’t wait.”

“Me too, me too, Alexis.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“So it’s a boy?”
“Indeed, miss, it is.”
“Oh, Alexis!” Tala hugs me tight. “We’re going to have a mini you.”
“And I’m going to teach him football.” I added.
“We’re going to be a happy family. Husband, wife, and son. I’m so happy.”
“Aren’t we all?”
Yes, we are.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

“Alexis,” Tala whispered. “My water just broke.”

"Wait. What?”

“My water just broke. I need an ambulance. Now.”

I was frantic. Basically, I pulled out my phone, dialled the best hospital in London, and stuffed a bunch of clothes in preparation.

“Alexis, it hurts!”

“Wait, wait, wait Tal, the ambulance is coming.”

The ambulance does come, and they rush Tala to the hospital. As she’s giving birth, I hold her hand tightly. In those hours, I didn’t ever lose grip. After 8 hours, she’s done. There’s our boy, our boy.

“He’s beautiful.” she smiles weakly.

“What should we name him, love?”

“Pierre?”

“How about Layth?”

“I like that! Layth Pierre Sanchez.” (A/N: weirdest name ever. Ik.)

“So, Layth Pierre Sanchez?”

“It’s agreed.”

I can’t help but smile. We’re all a happy family now. Tala, Layth, and I. I kiss Tala’s forehead. “I love you.”

I'm sorry it sucks. But I got sleepy. And an overload to update. Still hope you like it :/
