My Hero Academia: Rise of Ben 10, Book 1.

Together, we're Harder than Diamond.

(After a few quick considerations, we have decided to switch out Eye Guy with AmpFibian for the first 10 lineup.)

Ben went to school that day feeling more nervous than he ever had in his life. At the same time, he felt thrilled though.  This would be the first time he took the Hero Program Entrance Examination and now there was a slim chance he could possibly get in. 

Ben was hopeful at the very least. Honestly while the test was just being made to teach the current UA students how to become teachers, and also as a second chance to people whose quirks were not well suited to the Faux Villain type Entrance Examination. 

When his homeroom came to a close, he wordlessly put on his tracksuit and made his way with other crowds of eager students to UA's training area. 

The training area was basically an entire scaled down replica of a city, complete with buildings, obstacles, streets, and a massive metal wall that encompassed it, keeping unauthorized people out. 

Ben took a deep breath as he saw the crowds of students already standing outside. 

As he approached, he could see Kyoka already standing with a few of her fellow classmates as well as some of the kids from Class 1B supervised by several hero teachers.  They were all wearing tracksuits as well and not their usual hero costumes. 

Ben supposed this made things more fair, it's not like the people doing the examination had their own costumes or support items to help them. 

"ATTENTION EVERYONE!!" roared Tenya Iida, stepping up onto a platform. "ATTENTION ALL TEST TAKERS!! Eyes on me!! Let us have order here!!!"

Tenya gestured to the giant metal doors of the training area. "Beyond this point you see the Examination that we, the students of UA's HERO COURSE have designed to determine your worthiness to enter the Hero Program!! There can only be ONE winner, however.."

Tenya gripped his hand into a fist tightly, his glasses lenses burning bright. "The fact that you are all here taking the examination makes ALL of you worthy!!! However, this is for the most elite of the elite.. so don't be surprised.. AS EXPECTED OF UA TO BE SO PICKY!!!"

"He's every bit the same person that Kyoka described Ben muttered.

"I WILL NOW LEAVE IT TO MOMO YAOYOROZU!" roared Tenya. "Our female representative for Class 1A, to explain the examination we have set up!"

Momo, a beautiful looking girl with a large ponytail and shining black hair spoke now. "There are two sections that you are to pick in the practical portion after you have finished the written test.  Rescue and Combat.. if you wish to pick combat, you will enter through this gate.. if you wish to pick Rescue, you will follow Ochaco-san and Midoriya-san over there to the USJ facility where-.."

Ben looked around at the other students taking the test. Most of them were people he recognized, but wasn't friends with. Honestly most of the students in his Business Studies weren't those he got along with, mainly because he was never into business in the first place, while the vocational students were okay with the profession they were applying for. 

He was like a lone sheep in the social environment of UA. 

But he did recognize when there was somebody new, such as now. There was another boy standing next to Ben which he had never seen before.. 

The boy was thin but fit and muscular, which was apparent by his sleeveless black shirt. His black hair was unruly, and his expression reminded Ben of Katsuki Bakugou, which he had seen a few times from a distance. Violent and antisocial.
