(Y/N)'s POV

I was walking down to the Waverly Sub Station ready to hang out with Max. Yesterday we couldn't do our annual video game night since it fell on Russo Family Night and my own (L/N) Family Night. My mom, dad, and I had gone to see Legally Blonde: The Musical. My dad was able to snag tickets from a raffle at work so we went and saw it and I was in love with the soundtrack now.

As I walked in I heard Mrs. Russo hugging Max and saying "Promise me you'll never grow up and leave me!"

"But I'm supposed to be taking out the garbage" Max responded in a confused tone.

"Oh no, you're our little baby. Your daddy will take out the garbage," Mrs. Russo replied, taking the bag out of Max's hands and holding it up to Mr. Russo.

"Me?" Mr. Russo questioned before sighing, "Fine."

"Thank you daddy," Max replied.

"Oh save it," Mr. Russo replied, walking out and waving as he passed me.

"Should I come back later?" I asked, laughing at the way Max looked at me.

"Mom, mom, I'm going to hang out with (Y/N), we need to make up our video game tournament. If we don't then I'll never beat her high score on Mario Kart!" Max exclaimed.

"Not like you would anyways," I added as he glared playfully.

"Okay go on, but if you guys need anything just holler!" Mrs. Russo replied as we ran up the stairs.

"Prepare to lose Russo," I said as we ran into the apartment.

"Oh it's so on," Max replied as he started up the gaming system.

"Hey thanks for inviting me for pizza and skee ball with you guys!" I said, looking at Max and Alex.

"No problem, figured we could hang out more since we didn't have much of a chance yesterday," Max replied.

"Yeah, I forgot to ask, why are your parents acting like you're seven again?" I asked.

Max replied, "They don't want me to grow up anymore since Alex and Justin already are, I guess?"

I shrugged and kept walking with Alex and Max into the movie theater, realizing we weren't going to eat pizza and play skee ball.

"What are we doing here?" Max asked.

"Well, I'm going to get into a movie with Justin's friends and you're going to see 'Icevarks' again," Alex replied.

"But I already saw 'Icevarks' and so has (Y/N)," Max replied

"Well, go crash that birthday party," Alex replied, "I'll bet they're giving away the paddle with the ball attached."

"I do like those," Max said.

Soon enough Alex was pushing Max and I towards the party as they left. I shrugged and went along with it, even if I stood out like a sore thumb since this seemed like an all boys party, but what can you do?

"Gotta go, we gotta go, now!" I muttered as Max and I ran away from the party and their angry parents.

"Hey look on the bright side, I got a paddle ball!" Max shouted as we ran through the Monoplex, passing his parents and Justin.

"Hi Mom! Hi Dad!" Max shouted.

"Hi Mr. and Mrs. Russo!" I shouted as well.

The both of us ran out and back to the Sub Station, laughing at what a night it had been.
