(Y/N)'s POV

Max and I were hanging out at the Sub station as per usual except that he was on his parents old laptop since he became a reviewer for the school newspaper and he wanted me to proofread his articles. I was waiting for him to finish up so I started on my history homework.

Mrs. Russo walked up to us, "Hey, what are you up to, Max?"

"Well, I'm the new reviewer for the school newspaper," Max answered.

"I've always known you had promise, honey. Now I know what it was for," Mrs. Russo said.

Max sighed, "But if only I could think of something to review...like a movie called Elasto-Man Snaps Back, playing at 3:45 or 4:15?"

"You know you're right. A writer needs inspiration. I'll take you. Let me just finish up this order, okay?" Mrs. Russo said.

"Can (Y/N) come? She's my editor so," Max asked.

"Sure!" Mrs. Russo replied as she went to finish up an order.

I smiled and got up with Max as he went over to Justin and said, "And that is how you get your mom to take you to the movies before homework."

I rolled my eyes before we went upstairs to dropped off our stuff. Turning to him I said, 'You know I didn't have to go with you, I only proofread your articles."

He shrugged, "Yeah but it's always better when you come along."

Smiling we headed back downstairs to head to the movies and review Elasto-Man Snaps Back.

Max and I were sitting around at the Sub Station the next day as he was writing his review on the movie we saw yesterday while I was waiting for him to finish up when Mrs. Russo walked over, "Working on you review, Max? I'm so glad you finally found something you're half good at."

"Right here it is," Max replied, "I saw Elasto-Man Snaps Back with my mom and best friend/editor last night which was a big mistake because she didn't put enough butter on the popcorn. And that's the Max View."

I slammed my head down on the table after he was finished, thinking 'Oh Max.'

I then lifted my head seeing Mrs. Russo left, "Max I think we need to think more about the movie than about the popcorn your mom got."

"You're right, I should talk about how you fell asleep halfway through the movie!" Max replied.

I gasped and punched his shoulder as he laughed.

"In this ambitious production, Tinker Bell swats down her on inner demon and is then able to help others. He brings a new layer to a classic character. Truly brilliant," I read out loud.

"So what do you think?" Max asked.

I smiled, "It's really good Max. Sorry I couldn't make it, my mom insisted on going shopping for new clothes since I cleaned out my closet. Did I miss anything?"

"Nah just Justin bringing a real life fairy into the production," Max replied.

I laughed, "Good one, Max."
