I felt Savvy's hand grasp mine and we started to back away

Suddenly I was pulled back and I heard Savvy yelling for Beta
"Beta! BETA!!!"
It seemed upon opening the door, we completely forgot there was a free fall space behind us that contained an ink pool below...
As we fell, what happened next during it surprised me...

Savvy was cut off

Beta went into a diving position, Savvy wrapped her arms tightly around Beta's neck, while, I held Beta's shoulder
I swore I heard Zeta say
"RRRRRRR,THE LITTLE RUNT CAN CREATE INK PORTALS!? WELL DON'T THINK I'M LETTING YOU THREE ESCAPE THAT EASILY!!"
*a few minutes later*
After we escaped, it looked like we were surrounded by ink with a bright light ahead of us
