"Gary. Gary. You're not going to believe this!"

What, Olive?

"I've been invited to eat dinner."

What? Who- Who invited you?

"Margie. Over the phone, she invited me to eat supper at her house. "

Oh? Cool-

"Yeah! I'm so excited, Gary. Happy and excited to leave the house again. I need to leave the house, I don't want to be cooped in here like an chicken, I think it's too much to bear. Gosh, oh how I miss going somewhere else and have a good time with someone else, even if it's for a moment, I miss having a grand time."

But I'm here with you, don't you have a grand time with me?

"I do, Gary. I really do. But we both know it's not the same thing comparing to a human being. But with a human being, you could do more than just talk, they'd hold your hand, hold you, and then hug you tight altogether. Doesn't it feel good to be touched, knowing that you are in the arms of a loving stranger who'd be determined to be at your side not matter what the circumstances are, you and your stranger at last. My it feels so good. I don't know when's the last time I've been touched like this?"

A long time, Olive. A long time.

"Oh yeah- a very long time in deed- I remember now...."

Do you also remember what a human being would also do?"

"And what is that, Gary?"

They'd stab you in the back and lead you a stray, have you forgotten about that too? Don't be so naive, Olive. We both know how it works, the world is filled  with sick people with sick intentions leading a burning life. We live in a sick and boring life, Olive. Just an example how human beings can be cruel as well, that friend you said he'd come by for supper last night and never showed up at all, that was all a scheme for him to run with your money. Face it, hon, he was never gonna show up for an old lady like you and you and I know that to be true. For all we know, he's out there scheming another old lady like you-

"Stop that- I don't want to hear that kind of talk from the likes of you."

But it's the truth, Olive, I'm just being straight with you. Haven't I been straight with you. I'm trying to tell you how it is. Don't be naive- don't be! People like that will take advantage of you and then you'd end the way you are now. Alone. Do you want to be alone? Do you? If you listen to me, you'll be alright, kid. Your days of romance are over. You're not 35 any more! You're not young anymore! YOUR DAYS OF ROMANCE ARE OVER... YOUR DAYS OF ROMANCE ARE OVER... YOUR DAYS OF ROMANCE ARE OVER- it's over.... it's OVER! IT'S OVER! OVERRRRRRR!

"STOP IT! STOP IT! I DON'T WANT TO HEAR THIS FROM YOU OR ANYBODY ELSE IN THAT MATTER. I don't know why you're being so hostile towards me. I  THINK I'M DOING FINE, THANK YOU! I am just gonna go over at the Baker's house for supper, that's all. You don't got to be that way, Gary. You know I luv u. I'm your one and only, remember? And if you don't approve of me going over there, then so be it. I'm going-

I don't approve.

"So be it, Gare."
