Soulmates were a hot topic in Taehyung's home, not in a good way either. Ever since he could remember, his grandpa would tell him that love was bad.

It was a rule forged into Taehyung's head.

His grandpa would repeat it to Taehyung everytime he wanted to write something on his skin, show his soulmate that he was there.

"Love is pointless." said his grandpa for the hundredth time.

Taehyung nodded and rolled his sleeve down, hiding all of Jungkook's messages.

He didn't question his grandpa's words, he was after all his only family, he knew what's best for Taehyung.

"I don't want you to end up like your parents." repeated one of his most common lines his grandpa.

What he meant by that was dead. He didn't want to see Taehyung dead. His parents were dead because of love and his grandpa couldn't get over it.

"yes, grandpa." murmured Taehyung.
