BSL, Verbal communication.

Trigger Warning - PTSD flashes.

Blue smiles as she lets him in. His lanky frame awkwardly stands in the entrance of her flat, basically in the living space and she stares at him for a moment.

The black oversized jumper and matching beanie on him makes him look cuddly.

"Sorry for my many messages!" Harry quickly signs, giggling.

It took him a while to find her place and Blue chuckles at his panic messages, hinting at getting kidnapped for being vulnerable. He shuffles his feet on the wooden floor and keeps his eyes to himself.

The flat is small and lovely.

It has enough light letting itself in and it is not beyond what he expected Blue's apartment to look like. His curious eyes wander around, picking up mini framed artwork, books and magazines.

A few things align with the personality she has presented to him and he suddenly feels warm.

The jumper is befitting for the weather but there's extra warmth in her flat. He nervously smiles when he turns to see her smiling at him, allowing him to take his time in taking in her personal space.

"Welcome to my humble abode," she giggles with a fake curtsy.

"What are you doing?" he widens his eyes.

Blue pauses to remember her additional lessons in BSL and clears her throat before letting her hands to the talking.

"Welcome to my flat," she gently signs and it's successful.

Harry chuckles in amusement and appreciation. He slowly nods and cannot help his beaming grin at her.

"Thanks for inviting me," he responds.

"I really didn't expect you to show up," she is honest.

"Says the person who begged me to spend time with her," he teases.

"Hey, I didn't beg you!" she whines.

"Just teasing, relax," he smiles at her.

"I hope you didn't have high expectations," she raises an eyebrow.

"Certainly didn't expect a castle, so you're good," he teases.

"Ha-ha, you're funny!" Blue shakily signs that after speaking.

"Funny," he corrects her signing with a smile.

"Thanks," she signs.

They walk into the flat with him standing next to her, he towers over her and she doesn't realise how much taller he is.

He is always hunched, looking down, slightly bent and never really standing in a confident pose. Harry tugs at his beanie, feeling his cold curls on his side and feeling a little irritated by it.

This is his first time visiting a friend's place in ages and he truly doesn't know how to act. He doesn't want to be forward and he also doesn't want to pretend to be cool or pretend not to care about this.

He hasn't had a friend in ages and the only friend that's not dropped him is Zayn. However, that relationship is currently not one to boast about.

Harry turns to Blue, who is scrolling away on her phone and he lightly taps her shoulder to get her attention.

"Do you live alone?" he asks.

"Don't worry, my flatmate only sucks animal blood," she responds.
