..and Allaah is the Best of Planners (Part 2)

The books lay spread open and she yawned and looked at their words with a drowsy smile.

an Abu Hurairah (radiallahu anhu): Qaala Rasullullahi ﷺ

"Kalimataan khafeefataan ala al-lissaan,

thaqeelataan ala al-mizaan

wa habeebataan ila Al-Rahmaan:

Subhanallahu bi Hamdi, Subhanallahul-Adheem.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,

"There are two statements that are light for the tongue to remember,
heavy in the Scales and are beloved to the Merciful: they are
'Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhan-Allahil-Azim [Glory be to Allah and His is the praise, (and) Allah, the Greatest is free from imperfection]'."

Humaira blinked at the Hadith in the book spread before her and smiled sleepily as she murmured,

"Ah you're beloved to Ar Rahman so you are loved by me Muskaan," then crossing her arms on the table's surface, she laid her head on them and tried to keep her eyes peeled open as she stared at the next book which also lay open at a particular page before her.

It was about Surah Al Ikhlas and she read that every verse of this surah is actually an elucidation of the previous verse. Now reading the small yet precise commentary about Surah Al Ikhlas Humaira felt it was simply lovely;

When it is said, "Who is He (your Lord?)", you should say "Allaah."

When it is said, "Who is Allaah?", you should say "Ahad (The One)."

When it is said, "Who is the One?", you should say, "Samad (the Self-Sufficient)."

When it is said, "Who is the Self-Sufficient?", you should say, "He who begets not, nor was He begotten."

When it is said, "Who is it that begets not, nor was He begotten?" You should say, "equal to Him is none."

"Ah Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi Subhan-Allahil-Azim." Humaira sighed in content delight.
