Ahmed sat down on the sofa and looked down at his hands. He seemed like he was contemplating about what to tell me. He let out a sigh and looked up at me.

"It was nothing. He just got pissed that I copied his homework" he said quickly. He's lying.

"You're lying." I simply state, rolling my eyes.

"How do you know?" He asked with a chuckle.

"You're not a good liar. Obviously" I said, getting up to get some more bandages for his knuckles.

"You don't have to tell me, not if you don't trust me" I yelled from the kitchen.

"No, of course I trust you, its just a lot I don't think you'd understand. Its just a guy thing" I heard him say from the loft. I head back towards him with the extra bandages and place them in front of him.

"You're not going to do it?" He asked with a smirk.

"You can do it, you have your other hand" I retort back.

"Really, because you seemed like you really wanted to help bandage up my face. Maybe that was just an excuse to be close to me." he said knowing it would get me mad.

"Excuse me, you wouldn't know how to bandage up your own face. You're welcome by the way!"

"Oh right, thanks!" he said, flashing his dimples. His smile is so cute, but I can't stare. Or else he'll think I'm starting to actually like him.

"Alright, well I should head back home now." He stated after five minutes of awkward silence.

"You really want to go back after you got into such a big fight with one of your roommates?" I questioned him.

"Yeah, but what can I do..." He said, and then looked at me with puppy dog eyes.

Of course, he wanted to stay the night here. Well, I can't force him to go home, plus he's all hurt. And its the middle of the night. Its not safe for him to be driving this late at night.

"Okay you can stay here, only for tonight! You have to go back tomorrow. And you have to sleep on the couch." I narrow my eyes at him. He smirks and said thanks.

"You want to watch a movie?" He suggested. That doesn't sound too bad.

"Which one?" I ask him as I grab a blanket and sit on the opposite side of the sofa. I put my legs up on the table and covered myself with the blanket, making sure I was extremely warm since my hair was still wet.

"Hmm, a scary movie?" he suggested, raising his eyebrows. I do like horror films, but only when I'm with my friends so I can hide behind them at the scary parts.

"Okay, hows Scream?" I ask, since its a classic scary movie, plus it has some hilarious parts.

"Sounds perfect" He says looking for the remote. I picked it up from the table and began opening netflix. "Can you actually make some popcorn, I've been craving some" I asked him.

"Of course, anything for you" He says cheekily. Hm..he's acting really odd.

Once the popcorn was ready he came back into the loft and sat down next to me. Like right next to me. Extremely close. Before he was sitting at-least 5 feet away.

"Personal Space much?" I ask him, trying to scoot away.

"Sorry, I get really cold, can I share that blanket?" He asked, not waiting for me to answer. He grabbed the blanket and scooted right next to me and put his legs on the table. Whatever, he's my fiance right?

The movie began and I watched it a couple times, but I still randomly get scared. The suspense always gets me! The one scene where the masked killer came running up the stairs made me curl up into a ball, and Ahmed noticed.

"Aw, its okay, I'll keep you safe." He said, laughing at me. Excuse me, don't make me kick you in the balls. I roll my eyes and continue to watch the movie.

As I was watching, Ahmed seemed to get really sleepy. He yawned really loud and stretched his arms up and managed to put one arm around me.

"Smooth" I say, moving his arm back. Seriously, he has to stop being so annoying.

Not two seconds passed when another jump scare made me scream and hold onto his arm and pull him closer to me.

"I feel taken advantage of" He scoffed sarcastically. I smiled shyly, I was happy to have someone here for the night because of the scary movies I watched these past few days. I always hear some tapping on my windows at night, but that was just the wind.

After another half hour, the credits started to play.

I got up, still wrapped in my blanket.

"Okay, so I'll grab you a pillow, and a blanket and you can sleep out here. Do you need pjs?" I ask him.

I don't know why I asked, its not like anything I have would fit him. He was like 6 feet tall, my pants would come up to his knees.

"Um, no I'm good, I'm wearing sweatpants, I'll just take my hoodie off" he winked. I felt my cheeks getting hot and hurried into my bedroom to get a pillow and another blanket.

I came back with my favorite blanket and placed it on the couch along with a pillow. Ahmed must be in the bathroom washing up or something. I was tidying up when he came back into the loft.

"Oh, I thought you'd be asleep by now" he said, which caused me to jump and turn around to him. He was wearing his sweatpants and his hoodie was no where to be found! He took it off, and was going to sleep shirtless? Wouldn't he be cold?? Maybe his 6 pack will keep him warm. His arms were HUGE, his biceps were bulging when he began scratching the back of his head.

"ahem" he cleared his throat when he caught me staring at him. His hands went to cover his chest like he was a girl.

"I feel violated" he said in a high voice and laughed. I let out a small embarrassed chuckle and said goodbye and headed into my bedroom.

Not 20 minutes later, my window started tapping because of the wind. I couldn't help but think it was the masked killer from the movie. I quickly get up and go out to the loft to see if Ahmed is asleep or not.

Thankfully, he was not. He was on his phone, texting someone.

"Um, Ahmed?" I whisper.

He gets up a little and squints to make sure it was me talking and not some jinn.

"Yeah? Whats wrong?" he asked, sounding very concerned.

"I'm just a little scared, can you sleep in my room?" I ask with puppy dog eyes.

"Sure!" he said excitedly.

"On the floor?" I added, and I saw his shoulders drop. He really thought I'd share a bed with him before we got married? Thats if we get married.

"Oh, Sure..." He replies, less enthusiastically.

We both head inside, my room is carpeted which is great for him! He sets his pillow down and lies down and wraps himself in the blanket. I get on the bed and fluff my comforter before getting in.

"Goodnight! Sweet Dreams" I say before getting comfortable in bed.

"Oh I will." he replies with a chuckle. This guy is on another level.

Before going to sleep, I wanted to ask him a serious question.

"Ahmed?" I ask quietly, checking if he was still awake.

"Yeah?" he replied, I rolled over and saw his eyes were closed, but he was still awake.

"What was your reaction when you found out we were engaged?" I asked.
