OMFG I JUST LEARNT SOMETHING THAT MADE ME SO ASHAMED
In 1967, Greece was under dictatorship. We all know that. And it was the year that the Rolling Stones played a concert there.
There are many versions of what happened there. But something is for sure. During "Satisfaction", Mick decided to throw some red flowers to the crowd. Red, back then, was a forbidden colour. And the police got involved. Actually, they stormed up onstage and there was a huge mess. After that, it becomes a little blurry. What happened during that mess? Some say Mick slapped a policeman. Almost impossible, or else he wouldn't have gotten away from there alive. Some others say that the police attacked Andrew Loog Oldham and pushed Mick away while some others say that, when Bill saw the police attacking Andrew he told the others and they all got in the fight. There was certainly a huge riot and after that, the Stones left the concert.
God, I feel so ashamed of my country right now.
