One week later

April's POV

"Escaped convicts Bebop and Rocksteady are now in police custody, while Dr. Baxter Stockman remains at large. Authorities assure us that the city is safe once again, however questions remain about last week's events. What was that threat from the sky and how exactly was it averted? But the biggest question is, does it even matter? Do we need to give our heroes a name and a face? Or is it enough to know that they're out there watching over us from the shadows? April O'Neil Channel Six news. Back to you at the station." I said as I finished my report.

I was so proud of not only my baby sister Sapphire, who was going to receive a key to the city tonight, but not only her, but her friends and the guys were going to get keys too. I was proud of all of them. Growing up I had to look after Sapphire, making sure that she was okay and keeping the bullies away from her. But now, she has these amazing powers, and we don't know why she has them, but maybe someday, we will find out.

*Later that night*

I stand between a female officer and Casey as I watch my sister, her friends and the guys receive keys to the city. I couldn't help but see how each of the girls were so pretty in their dresses. They were all so cute. And I was happy to see that Addie's, Daisy's, and Ember's families came to watch their girls receive keys and to accept the Mikey, Donnie, and Raph as their boyfriends.

Sapphire's POV

"For your incredible valor within this community, and for your uncompromising cooperation with this agency, I present to you the keys to the city, a symbol of our appreciation, respect, and for our continued partnership. To you girls, Sapphire O'Neil, Ember Garcia, Daisy Norris, Adagio Swan. And to you brothers, Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo..." Vincent pause. "Last name?" She asked the turtles.

Oh right, they don't have one. "Not so much." Donnie says to her. "I never thought of that. That's no fair." Mikey pouts as me and the girls giggle at him. Addie holds his hand and kisses his cheek, making him feel happy again.

"Congratulations." Vincent finishes as she and everyone clap for us. When they finished I quickly went over to April and hugged her tightly. "Oh! I'm so proud of you lil' sis. You deserve this key." She said to me as she pulled back from our hug.

"Thanks. Oh, and Casey. I give you my blessing to date my sister. Treat her with kindness, and if you break her heart, I'll freeze you like a popsicle." I said as I threatened him. He chuckled nervously and agreed.

I left them and walked back up to Leo. He held me in his arms as we watch his brothers being introduced properly to my friends' families. They accepted them and were happy to see their daughters were happy. Just like I was.

"I love you Leo." I said to him as I pulled him into a kiss. He was shocked by my action, but instantly kissed me back. He pulled away and said, "I love you too, My Snowflake." And brought me into another kiss.

Third person's POV

Once Leo and Sapphire broke from their kiss they joined the others in showing of their keys. They were happy, each one of them was glad of the danger being gone, and the turtles, excluding Leo, could finally be able to stop hiding from their girlfriends' families.

Vincent approached them with a smile and made a proposal for the turtles. "I think you should give people more credit. They'll accept you now. Like how your girlfriends' families accepted you." She said.

The turtles and girls all looked at each other, and Raph was the one to break the silence. "You're probably right. But... I think we'll stick with the arrangement we've had."

"If you ever need us, April and the girls know where to find us." Leo tells her as he held Sapphire's hand. "Really? You could live a normal life. Like the rest of us." Vincent says. The girls laughed a little at that last statement. What part of their lives was normal? "Normal? What fun is that?" Raph says as he smiles. Now that was a big Raphael smile and Ember was happy to see it.

The group made it up to the top of the Statue of Liberty and huddled together. The girls couldn't help but think about what Krang said. "Guys, do you remember what Krang told us when we were fighting him? Do you think what he said was true? About everything? And what about this Verena person? Why would she want to kill us to stop some prophecy from coming true?" Daisy asks she turns herself around to face Donnie.

The turtles didn't know what to believe. Donnie couldn't find any records of their birth parents, and they were fairies, because magic wasn't something that was real on Earth. "I don't know Flower. But we promise you, we will figure it out someday. But right now, let's just enjoy our victory." Donnie says to her as he bends down and kisses her lips quickly, but gently. Daisy blushes and nods.

Mikey and Addie cheer first, as he hugs her and spins them around. The others followed their lead. They were all finally happy. And they hoped that no matter what the future brings them, that they'll always be together. And that nothing not even this Verena character will ever tear them apart from each other.
