a shout in , is there ever such a thing,
for to shout to nothing would mean many things.
to shout to means that you are not someone,
it means that as you run away, no one comes with you.
that you cannot say there is a magic named "us."
a shout in means that no one is listening,
no God, no person, no creature, nothing.
but perhaps a shout in is not so bad, for it means
that there is no one to cause you any more pain.
all the pain that you feel is your own, caused by yourself
a shout in means you are alone, and in a world where
humans are the most terrifying thing,
perhaps a shout in is not such a bad thing,
for then all you have to do is let go.
