Beautiful...

That's one word you could describe this breathtaking sight.

A mountain full of Violet Blooming Wisteria. Petals flowing freely in the air. The moonlight was illuminating above the wisteria trees. Producing a soft light like heaven.

Oh, how she wished that her parents could be here to enjoy this with her.

But that wasn't going to happen anytime soon.

She sighed with frustration and kept on walking up the stairs until she reached the top.

There were at least 20 people. All eager and determined to pass the exam.

But there was a few that caught her attention... There were four presences. It was the strongest out of all the slayers.

First is the girl with a butterfly clip. She held her one of her index finger up as a butterfly landed.

Second is the yellow haired boy. He kept chanting that he wasn't going to survive. He looked battered up.

Third was the boar head. He ran around the area telling people to challenge him. By the looks of it, he seemed very annoying.

Lastly, a mohawk guy. He had a scar over his nose and looked like he was about to blow up. He also cursed saying the exam was taking too long. Seems like he did not have any patience left to spare.

That was all she could listed out. So she went to side and sat down to rest for a while. Waiting for someone and the exam to start.

In the mean time, a certain maroon haired boy had finally crawled up the long stairs. He looked around and was astonished to see so many participants. But even so he was trying to find someone.

And he did.

A smile climbed on his face and he walked towards her. He quietly walked towards her direction. Carefully to not wake her up.

He silently sat beside her and put her head on his shoulder. The girl seemed so tired cause she already slept soundly, the second that she closed her covers.

His eyes trailed to the girl. He had always admired her deeply. She was strong and beautiful. She's just doubting herself too much for her own good.

Sometime later, she woke up and lifted her head up to see the maroon boy by her side.

"Tanjiro? You're here already. I was waiting for you."

"Ah, really sorry for being too slow."

"No, it's fine."

She gave him a small smile while standing up. So did Tanjiro.

Suddenly, two voices decided to interrupt.

"Everyone, we thank you for coming here tonight. To the Demon Slayer Corps Final Selection." a girl with white hair and another boy with black hair announced.

"There are demons that are imprisoned on Mt. Fujikasane, capture alive by the Demon Slayers swordsmen and unable to leave."

"That is because wisteria, a type of flower that demons loathe so much. It blooms a year-round from the bottom to half-way of the staircase. However, there are no wisteria from this point. So demons are abound. You'll need to survive seven days in order to pass the Final Selection. "

" Now, may you slayers be on your way." the two ended.

Tanjiro gave off a determined aura. He turned beside him to the girl.

" Fuyumi-san, do you want to team up together? " he asked.

" Sure, I don't see why not." she replied.

Tanjiro immediately pulled her hand into his hands and set off to the forest.

                                  __

" Oh Kami, please protect Fuyumi and bless her with good luck so that she would survive."

Her master Mirai clapped her hands together and prayed for her dear student.
