Now that someone knows the truth the next step is to talk it out properly which brings us to Rule #11 Confront Reality.

I am just finishing my homework when I get a call from Keeva and I know what it's about. I take a deep breath before answering.
"Hello, buddy the elf, what's your favorite color?"
"Teal, duh."
I laugh "you haven't changed."
"Did you think I had?"
I am taken aback, since finding out my feelings for Keeva were really just sincere admiration I really did feel like she had changed. Although the only thing that changed was me, or rather, how I thought I saw her."
"No, sorry, I mean, what's up?"
Keeva laughs, "And you're haven't either good to know, now let's discuss this crush of yours."
I groan, "Do we have to?"
She laughs "of course dude this is like suuuper important for your emotional growth and also amusing to watch you get all feely about someone you like."
I sigh, "fine yes, I do like Anya. What do I do!?"
"Tell her."
"What!?!"
"What do you mean what?" Keeva laughs.
"Dude I Can NOT do that."
"And why not?" She asks curiously
"Cause like..." I gesture with my hands knowing full well she can't see them but not knowing how to express what I mean.
"Are you doing that thing you do with your hands when you can't express emotions properly?"
"I can express emotions properly!!" I sputter.
"I'll take that as a yes."
I groan.
"Stop stressing little bird, really, it'll be okay. Telling people how you feel about them can be scary but it's important so you can find out whether or not they return your feelings."
"You make it sound so easy, not everyone is a genius with words." I say a little petulantly.
She half sighs and half laughs, "seriously just say what you feel and go from there."
I sigh in defeat, "okay okay fine."
"Yaayy!!"
"But it's you who's gonna have to watch me crash and burn if it goes badly."
"Of course that's what I'm here for, but for the record it won't go badly... or at least not too badly."
"RUDE!"
Keeva laughs and then says her goodbyes.
I hang up and lay on my bed staring at the ceiling. I text Anya for a bit before we both get ready for bed.
Well the reality is that Apparently I have to confess my feelings. Well that's tomorrow's problem, for now sleep!
