Five years later...
Masky POV
Its been five years now and winter is five years old. She's such an energetic little girl and jeff stayed strong and now hangs out with her.
"Uncle jeff your knife doesn't scare me! I see everyone use it so its not scary!!" Winter complained to jeff.
I turned to them and Jeff chuckled but it looked like it hit him hard. I remember Y/N said something similar to jeff when they first met.
"Yeah i know kid, but then again i was gonna scare masky!" Jeff chuckled
"Don't scare my papa!!" She complained
I smiled and went to her. I picked her up in my arms and she stuck her tongue out at jeff.
"Its alright sweetie, jeff can never scare me." I said to her
She smiled and jeff shook his head. I put her down as sally started coming down stairs. They both ran off and smile dog followed them.
"So how ya been?" I asked jeff
"That hurt badly!" Jeff sighed
"I remember Y/N said something similar like that to you when you guys first met." I replied softly
"The kids sassiness was passed on into winter." He said as we heard the girls laughing.
Lj and jane came downstairs and saw us.
"Hey guys." Lj said
"Hey." I replied
"Hey you two." Jeff replied
"How's winter?" Jane asked
"She's okay." I replied
"Thats good." Jane smiled
"Have you heard?" Lj asked
"Heard what?" I asked
"Apparently we have a special visiter today and a special prize tomorrow?" Lj explained
"What?" Jeff asked
"Slender man seemed on edge about it but told us to tell everyone." Jane replied
I was confused till offender came down stairs with winter and sally in his tendrils, smiles following right behind them.
"Grandpa offendy put us higher!!" Winter cheered
"Of course, your only and favorite grandpa would gladly do that." Offender teased
"OFFENDER!!" Trender and Splendor shouted from afar," TAKE THAT BACK!"
"Fine!" Offender said then whispered," I don't take it back."
Winter and sally giggled and were then put down. Winter then held the necklace with the proxy symbol as it was under her shirt and looked at it. I told her it was her mother's and she holds it every time she thinks of Y/N. I went to her and knelt down to her. She looked at me a little sad and i smiled.
"Whats wrong?" I asked her
"I wish....I wish i knew momma....everyone misses momma and i....." she said and then looked me in the eyes," who was momma before she left?"
Everyone was dead silent and i looked at the others for an answer.
"It's probably my fault? She always asks me to tell her stories of Y/N when she goes to bed." Jeff confessed.
"Tell her." Offender said softly
I sighed softly and picked up winter. I stood up and went to the couch. I sat down and sat her next to me.
"Your mom was an amazing, wonderful and the most random and crazy fun person we've ever met. She just made everything happier and better!" I said," just like you do now!"
I tickled her a little and she giggled.
"Papa!!" She giggled
I chuckled softly and smiled.
"Your mom was brave and strong. She never backed out of a fight and when you were born, she protected you and made sure you were okay no matter what....." i said softly," and that's probably what drove her to save everyone else too..."
she looked at me sadly as tears stung my eyes.
"Why......why did momma leave..?" She asked
I told her what and why and said it wasn't her fault. She looked even more sad and I didn't like that.
"But even though she died, she did it to protect everyone! And i can grantee she did it to make sure you lived a happy and bright life.....even if shes not here..." i told her softly
A tear left my eye and she brushed it off. I smiled and she hugged me.
"I love momma even if she's not here!" She said
I smiled softly and hugged her back.
"Whats going on here?" Hoodie asked
We let go and looked over the couch to see hoodie.
"Hi hoodie!!" Winter smiled
"Hey winter! Hey masky." Hoodie said
"Hey hoods." I replied
"What were you guys doing?" Hoodie asked
"Papa was telling me about momma." Winter said happily," and now I'll protect you guys too! Like her!"
"NO!" Everyone shouted
She giggled and i shook my head.
"You can but just don't get way over your head okay? Papa can't handle another goodbye, okay?" I asked
She looked at me and smiled.
"Okay! Then I'll pretend to be a superhero!!" She cheered
Everyone relaxed and i smiled. Smile dog then came and stood near winter. He's never left winters side ever since the funeral and im glad he protects her. Then there was a knock on the door. Winter perked up and ran to the door. She opened it and we saw jade an able.
"YAY!! Jade and able are here!!" Winter cheered
They smiled and came in.
"Hey winter! How you been?" Jade asked
"Im great now that papa told me more about momma!" Winter cheered
"Oh really?" Able asked
They looked at me and i nodded.
"Anyways, why did you come?" Lj asked
"Slender man asked us to come her for today and tomorrow." Jade explained
"He asked me the same thing?" Zalgo said coming in after.
"ZALGO!!" Winter cheered
Zalgo smiled at winter and winter cheered more.
"What the hell is so that important he's calling everyone?" Jeff asked
No one had any ideas but we just settled and talked as winter sat next to me again and listened in to our conversation.
"Damn you know what just came to my head?" Zalgo asked
"What?" Hoodie asked
"Y/Ns birthday! What if he's calling us for her birthday?" Zalgo asked
"Mommas birthday?" Winter asked
"Yeah her birthday is B/D." Zalgo replied
(B/D- birthday date.)
It hit me but i we didn't do it for five years which now i feel bad.
"Probably but we didn't do it before?" I suggested
"Probably cause im the only who knew her birthday." Zalgo replied
"Probably?" Jane agreed a little.
