the pen in my hand snaps in half as soon as i hear the familiar ring of my phone. the notifs have been popping up non-stop, lighting up the darkness in my room. the girl has been annoying me for the past day, ever since i sent her the phone. does she have no friends

i pressed onto the intercom, "cyclone, get in here."
a few minutes later, i could hear a knock on my door, and my younger brother's head poking into view. "what's up? i was about to leave for our daily patrol. is it important?"
"yeah," i throw him my phone, and he catches it in surprise, "take care of that annoying girl. don't be nice. see what she wants, if she's too demanding- block her." and by all means, if she wasn't an important witness to our mission, i would've ignored her since then.
