Once I make it to my guest house, I walk inside to make sure that the play area is neat before I pull open the double french doors. Jose walks up behind me with Cristian while Juan, Elle and Serenity follow behind.
Jose turns the television on so that Peppa Pig is playing while I lay out toys for the kids to play on. Once we have safely playing, we walk outside to the seating area which gives us a clear view of the children.

Jose takes a seat besides me while Juan and Elle sit on the single chairs.
"It's so good that you guys are working through things." Juan says as he takes off his sunglasses. "It makes me happy to see you guys together."

Jose confessed his suicidal thoughts to me almost eight months and we have been working on ourselves all these months. We are not officially together but we are not dating other people. We have just been focusing on being better people and better parents to our son who is turning one years old in a few days.
Jose still lives in his home which I occasionally go to but we have not made an arrangements for him to move back in. We found that living apart has been working in our favour so we will continue until we officialise things.
