it has always been the trio, tsukishima, yamaguchi, and y/n. they have been inseparable ever since that one fateful day when tsukishima and you stood up for young yamaguchi on the playground. today was just a normal friday for the 3 first years a karasuno. everything was normal for you, the same walk, the same volleyball practices, the same convince store trips after practice, and the same feelings. you see you developed feelings for the brown tinted green haired boy with freckles a while ago but have never had the guts to tell him.

one friday afternoon, the tri was walking back to their houses after the boy's volleyball practice, which you watched for the billionth time. once the trio met a intersection tsukishima went in another direction, towards his own house as yamaguchi and yourself kept waking and carrying on normal conversation. you passed a little park, the same park where you made your best friends years ago, you smiled, pointed and said" look it's the park let's go!" as you looked up a yamaguchi before darting towards it. he barely had enough time to say 'okay' before you were already gone, with a smile he chased after you. you ran right up the the swing set and flung your school stuff onto the ground and hopped on. yamaguchi followed and sat down next to you. you gently started swinging back and forth and you could feel the slight breeze gently brush against your face, it was just enough to blow your h/c colored hair behind you. you closed your eyes for a second and allowed yourself to relax. yamaguchi was admiring you while you were swinging. he always has admired you. when you opened your eyes you were met with the beautifully clear blue sky. you looked around the park and smiled at a familiar spot, the spot you met at. you pointed and said "look, it's where we all met years ago" as you looked at yamaguchi

"uhm yeah" he said looking down at his feet as his swinging slowed down. you glanced at him and asked what was wrong. "i-it's nothing really" he said as he looked up with a red face towards you.

you slowly got off the swing and walked right in front of him and leaned down face to face and said "it dosent sound like nothing"

"it just brought back memories okay" he said looking back down with his rose colored face. you noticed his breathing got uneven and so you put you hand on his shoulder and asked what was wrong, for the second time.

all he said was " it's just the, the bad memories keep coming back when i look there" as he gestured to the spot you met him. "it just feels like i hear all of the things they said all over again" he said, with shaky breath. his head still was down. he was choking back tears. you crouched down so you could be eye to eye with him and said,

"you know you'll freckles are adorable right?" with a honest smile on your face. he glanced back up at you and his face got as red as a rose. he started panicking because he didn't know how to respond to his crush saying things like that to him. you gently grabbed his hand and dragged him to the spot you met him at. you slowly sat down where he was on the ground where you met him and gestured you to sit too. "come here" you patted the ground next to you and be sat down. "let's make new memories here so you don't only have the sad ones" you said with a smile looking over at yamaguchi. he looked back at you half stunned, confused, and embarrassed all at once. you grabbed his hand again and caressed your thumbs across the top of his hand gently as he watched. you gently squeezed his hand and looked him in the eye and said "i have loved you for as long as i can remember, and i want you to always remember that" his face instantly got red as he tried to speak back,

"i-i- l- lo-loved y- you to-o" you smiled and kissed his cheek. still holding his hand, you smiled towards the sky with pink blush reaching your cheeks.
