it was no secret that kenma kozume loved video games but he also loved you. you of course had no idea the poor boy adored you. you see, you,kuroo, and kenma have always been friends. and when they joined the volleyball club at Nekoma you just had to be the manager.

after their loss to Fukurōdani the entire team was upset. as you're job as manager, to cheer them up, you suggested a trip to get meat buns. not one of the boys disagreed with the idea.

once everyone had their meat buns and were standing around the store outside, you went around and individually told them all that they were amazing and they will get the next game. when you saw kenma sitting on the streets curb playing his game you sat down next to him. he didn't notice you at first but he did when you chucked at him kill a monster of some sort. he glance up at you watching and smiled. you put your hand on his shoulder and said,

"hey do you did a amazing job playing today. we will crush them next time" after a beaming smile you got up and left him to his games to go talk to kuroo.

about 5 minutes later the crowd started to dissolve so you, kuroo, and kenma started walking home. the sun was setting and it was beautiful. kenma was still neck deep in a game as you were twirling ahead of the two boys talking about how beautiful it is outside. as you were talking kuroo grabbed the gaming console from kenma's hands and pointed at you. you kept on talking and didn't notice anything but kenma's face got pink at the sight of you.

"why don't you ask her to hang out?" kuroo whispered to kenma while you kept talking.
kenma just shook his head a kuroo not taking his eyes off of you. kuroo smirked and yelled out to you, "hey y/n we are going to kenma's wanna come?" you stopped spinning and replied,

"oooo sure! let me call my mom!" you pulled out your phone and called her, "hey mom can i go to kenma's with kuroo after the game?" you hear a muffled yes and a question, you pulled the phone from your ear and asked, "am i going to need anything?" they shook their heads and told your mom" no i won't need anything. oh yeah we lost the game... agh i knOw we will get them next time. okay mom i'll let you go now we are almost there,, okay love you, byeeee" you said as you hung up on the phone and beamed at the boys. with a smile you said you could go tho kenma's house. you slowed down and walked beside kenma as you slowly approached his house.

kenma let you and kuroo in and his mother greeted the two," hello kuroo, ooh! y/n you haven't been here in a while! it's nice to see you!"

"ah yeah it nice to see you too mrs kozume!" you replied taking your shoes off. you followed the two boys to kenma's room. you walked into kenma's room to see absolutely nothing changed. it had his bed, desk, gaming set up, a few posters and a window.
you sat next to kuroo on the bed as kuroo asked kenma what we are gonna do.

the trio ended up playing some game on his ps4. after about a hour or two kuroo looked at kenma with a wink as he said,

"hey i gotta go my mom wants me home" you looked at kuroo and said,

"ookay bye kuroo!" with a smile kuroo walked out of the room and you could hear him thank kenma's mom and close the door to leave. kenma received a message not even a few seconds later from kuroo, 'come on pudding head you got this' kenma left him on read as you flopped backwards on kenma's bed. you heard kenma have a really deep sigh. you turned your head too look at him and ask,

"are you that bored of me already?" it took kenma a few seconds to respond but when he did he put his hands out in front of him and his eyes got big as he tried to reassure you,

"no-no-no i could never be bored of you" when he realized what he said his face got really red. you couldn't help but laugh at him,

"it was a joke kenma, i know you love me" you said with a big smile. kenma got extremely pink when you said that and he said,

"y- you do?" you looked at him a bit confused and said,

"yeah we're friends right?" kenma looked at you slightly defeated and said

"yeah" after a few minutes of silence between the duo until you suggested a movie. he looked at you and nodded. he put a movie on and sat down next to you. the movie started and about 40 minutes into the movie you turned to kenma and saw him focused on the movie. you moved closer to him and laid your head on his shoulder he shook as the sudden feeling of you there. he looked over at you with a red face and you smiled up at him and told him softly that you were cold. his face got really red as he offered a blanket to you and you nodded. he got off the bed and walked out of the room and grabbed a blanket from the his family room and came back. jokingly he tossed the blanket at you when he got to the door to his bedroom. you laughed and he sat back down next to you with a smile. you laid the blanket out across you and him. kenma unpaused the movie and you looked up at him.

"can i lean my head on you?" you asked with innocence glistening in your eyes. kenma looked at you and nodded as he face got pink. he saw your face light up as you smiled and laid against his shoulder. his heart flutters at the feeling of you being so close to him. the duo ended up staying like that for most of the movie. you glanced out the window and saw it was dark out. the movie was close to ending, you want it to never end. as much as you wanted to deny it, you loved that pudding headed boy. the movie ended and neither of the pair wanted to move. you hear a slight hum from kenma and looked up at him. he had his eyes closed. you smiled softly and hummed before deciding to tell him you liked him. if he didn't hear you then it was no big deal you said it any that's what matters.

"um i think i like you kenma" you said said softly enjoying for him to hear you. you're heartbeat accelerated after hearing him sweetly hum again before whispering,

"i like you too" you were so happy. you lifted your head from his shoulder and looked at him in the eyes. you got lost in his precious eyes. his face got more and more tinted pink the longer you looked at him. you pulled him into your arms and smiled softly as you gave him a big hug. he slowly smiled and hugged you back as you could feel his racing heartbeat against you. you pulled away from the hug and looked up at him. you looked deeply into his eyes as you cupped his face and slowly kissed him. he was hesitant but kissed back. you broke the kiss and laid back against the headboard of the bed with a massive smile. kenma slowly, and very hesitantly laid his head on your shoulder and asked softly,

"are we a thing now?" you smiled and hummed in response before yawning and falling asleep with kenma on your shoulder.

bonus ending: mrs. kozume opened the door to kenma's while saying, "y/n your moms on the phone she wants you to go home now" she cut herself off when she saw her son laying against y/n and slowly closed the door saying "she has fallen asleep with kenma after a movie, i will take care of them for the night and send her home in the morning okay?"
