you gripped the blanket you had wrapped around yourself. thunder clashed as your frame shook under the blanket with a small squeal. you peeped again as you rose your head up and scrambled to your phone on the nightstand beside your bed. with the blanket still around your body you pulled the phone to yourself and softly sat back on the ground, shaking from the storm outside your house. you quickly unlocked your phone and called your boyfriend. you slapped the phone against your ear, hearing the phone dial lev.

"Hey babe" you heard through the phone

"h-hey-" you started before another clash of thunder but the ground making you squeal.

"is everything okay f/n?" you heard him say in a concerned voice

"c-can you come over?" you asked quietly trying to keep a steady voice

"of course, i'll be there in a few okay?" you heard lev say with a caring tone. you hummed quietly before hearing the phone hang up. you looked out of the blanket and set the phone down, taking a breath. you would be okay lev is coming, you thought until another clash of thunder and a flash of bright lights through your window. your whole body shook with the deep sound of thunder. you pulled the blanket over your head on the ground and hoped lev would be there soon.

you heard the doorbell ring from your bedroom. you dropped the blanket and begun to stand up from the ground when there was a lightning strike. you shook, almost collapsing onto the ground but you caught yourself on the nightstand and stumbled to the doorway. you head the doorbell go off again as you softly called,

"i-i'm coming!"

you walked up to the door and fumbled to unlock it for your boyfriend. you pulled the door open to see a very tall, familiar face. it was as promised, lev haiba. he beamed at you until he really studied your expression. you looked terrified. he walked inside and put his arms out, lightly grabbing your shoulder.

"hey hey what's wrong?" he asked as softly as he could.

as his arms touched your shoulder thunder clashed and you shook. lev was quick to react pulling you into his arms. he held you against his broad chest. a breeze flew through the still open door, he pulled you close and turned so he was facing the door. he lightly kicked the door closed with his foot. he looked down as you as you clung to him. he softly said,

"it's okay i'm here now"

you lifted your head up with a soft smile to see him. you looked into his eyes and whispered,

"can we go into my room" as a clash of thunder hit the ground. he smiled and nodded as you slowly pulled away from him after that loud noise.

right after you opened the bedroom door there was a crash of thunder that shook though your whole body as you held the door handle. you recovered as you heard lev's soft voice say,

"come here you're safe now" as he moves passed you and sat down against your bed frame facing away from your window.

you smiled as you slowly followed him sitting down besides him. you laid your head on his shoulder only to be shaken by another clash of thunder. you quickly took a breath as lev snaked his arm around your waist. he slowly pulled you in front of him, letting you lay back against his chest. he wrapped his arms around your stomach holding you close as you pulled a blanket over you. you turned yourself around to face him after a very very loud boom of thunder shook the ground. you shook as you quickly buried your face in his chest.

he whispered softly in your ear,

"it's okay, i've got you" as his warm body held you. he slowly placed one hand on the side of your head gently running his fingers through your hair as the other arm kept a soft yet firm grasp around your body, keeping you against him.

you looked up at him still against his chest and said,

"thank you lev"

he beamed at you and replied in a soft voice,
"anything for you baby"

you softly laughed and kissed his cheek before saying,
"i love you"

he pulled you closer, his words being interrupted by a flash of lightning and distant thunder. you shook but stopped when lev distracted you by saying,

"i love you too"

you wrapped your arms around his body as he held you softly. you closed your eyes as he shielded you from the storm.

not shortly after you softly fell asleep in your lovers arms, protected.
