your boyfriend, akaashi keiji was a very kind, but blunt person. so naturally it came by shock when the two of you were hanging out at his house when he said,

"stay by me" you looked over at the black haired boy who was sitting across from you as the pair played a card game.

"if this is one of your tactics to get me to loose, it's not gonna work" you said back at the male across from you. you put down one of your cards and looked back up at him. his face dropped into a uninterested expression as he put all of his cards down and said,

"it wasn't about the game, i don't want to play anymore anyway" he got up from the floor and sat on his bad that was placed along a window in his room. your eyes followed him as he moved and then turned back to the pile of cards in the floor. you put the cards away neatly in the box and set it down on his desk before you walked to his bed. you climbed on and sat next to him. you both looked out the window in a awkward silence before you looked at him and said,

"keiji.. what did you mean by that"

he took a couple seconds before responding but when he did he kept his gaze out at the setting sun.

"i just am not the best at anything. i just don't want you to leave me."

you took a few seconds to understand his blunt response to your question but when you did respond you said,

"keiji don't think that way!" you lightly hit his arm, "you are the best boyfriend i could ever have i wouldn't dream of leaving you."

he slowly turned his head to you and gave you a small smile and said,

"i love you" in a whisper

you responded in a whisper as well and you said, "i love you too" you hugged the boy next to you and he pulled you both down so you were laying on your backs. he pulled you closer and you pressed your head against his chest.

"can you stay the night" he whispered softly.
you hummed in response and then looked up at him and said,

"why are we whispering?" he looked at you and started softly laughing and you smiled and laughed along.
