𝕕 𝕣 𝕖 𝕒 𝕞 𝕤 ~ 𝕙𝕒𝕚𝕜𝕪𝕦𝕦!! 𝕠𝕟𝕖𝕤𝕙𝕠𝕥𝕤

𝕔 𝕠 𝕗 𝕗 𝕖 𝕖~ 𝕤𝕦𝕘𝕒𝕨𝕒𝕣𝕒 𝕜𝕠̄𝕤𝕙𝕚

~ 𝕔𝕠𝕗𝕗𝕖𝕖 ~

you and sugawara have always been friends. the pair met plying volleyball in primary school and have been friends ever since. the friendship between the children created a connection between both families and now always talk.

"y/n-chan?" sugawara hummed your name while putting a volleyball in the storage bin

"yes?" you replied wondering that the setter wanted.

"y/n-chan can you please toss me that ball?" he asked pointing at the ball a few feet away from you. you smiled, nodded and served the ball over to him. he caught it perfectly and tossed it back into the bin.

"WOAH Y/N-CHAN CAN SERVE?" nishinoya yelled astounded that the 3rd year manager could actually play volleyball.

you giggled and said with a smile, "i actually met sugawara-kun playing volleyball in primary school" you followed nishinoya's gaze to sugawara who had his had on the back of his neck and he smiled softly. you looked back a nishinoya who seemed genuinely mind blown that you could play.

"Y/N-CHAN" nishinoya yelled flipping his attention back to you as he yelled, "CAN YOU PLAY A GAME WITH US??"

you smiled and looked at sugawara. he shrugged and pulled a ball back out and you looked back at nishinoya and said "sure" with a big smile, nishinoya jumped into the air. the game consisted of a 3 on 3 of you, sugawara, and daichi and on the other team was nishinoya, asahi, and ennoshita.

the game stared with a serve from sugawara and ended with you diving for a ball only to have been tripped by hinata waking into the court and you skidding only your cheek.

"aaaaagh" you groaned getting up from the ground. hinata ran up to you and yelled,

"OH MY GOD Y/N ARE YOU OKAY? IM SO SORRY"

"BOKE HINATA YOU TRIPPED HER!" kageyama yelled as all of you boys surrounded you.

you smiled up at them and reassured them all that you were fine as sugawara helped you up from the ground. "thank you sugawara-kun" you said as you walked up the the first aid kit. you were about to put a bandage on but completely missed where your skin was scraped. sugawara laughed and took the bandages from you and did it for you. you smiled softly at him and thanked him again before putting the first aid things back. after you actually put things away to leave you thanked everyone who played for the game, reassured hinata that you were okay, and thanked sugawara one more time. you and sugawara started off on your way back home after practice when you saw a adorable cafe and turned to sugawara with a smile and asked,

"can we go to the cafe pleaseeeee" he laughed at you begging and pulled you into the cafe. they pair sat down at a table and a waitress came to take their order.

"may i please a mocha" you politely asked the waitress and she nodded and looked to sugawara

"can i have a americano please" sugawara asked. the waitress nodded and said she would be back with the drinks soon. you smiled softly at sugawara from across the café's table. your heart fluttered when you heard him as, "why are you smiling?"

you smiled even more despite your cheek hurting and said "what? i like hanging out with you" you could see sugawara's cheeks get tinted pink after you said that. "oh ho ho who's smiling now" you pointed at sugawara and playfully crossed your arms. before sugawara could respond to you the waitress came with your drinks,

"a americano for you and a mocha for you, i will drop off the bill in a few minutes"

"thank you!" you beamed at the waitress. she smiled and walked away to sever another table. you took a sip of your coffee but burnt your tongue, "agh i think i burnt my tongue!" you said putting your drink down as sugawara laughed when you crossed your arms glaring at the drink in the table. you looked back up at sugawara and said "damn i have been having really bad luck today huh" he chuckled at what you said and took a sip of his own drink.

about 15 minutes later the waitress came back and dropped the bill off.

"i'll pay for this, you are having a bad day"
sugawara said

"thank you so much" you said as the pair left the small cafe.

you two walked next to eachother, almost hand in hand as you pointed out all the small pretty things you saw on the walk. you were about 10 minutes from your house and sugawara couldn't keep his feeling hidden for much longer. he had been in love with your from primary school.

sugawara stopped walking and grabbed your hand pulling you infront if you. "huh? what's wrong sugawara-kun?" you asked him softly. he had a determined look on his face when he said,

"y/n-chan i can't keep this too myself anymore" you grabbed his hands and looked at him with a concerned face.

"sugawara-kun are you okay?" he closed his eyes and smiled at you. when he opened his eyes he said,

"y/n..." he started. he didn't say the respective honorific. "y/n i really like you, i have for so long" you looked up at sugawara as your cheeks got flushed.

you gave him a massive smile and jumped up and wrapped your arm around his neck. tears stared forming in your eyes as he slowly wrapped his arms around your waist unsure of your response. you pulled away from the hug and smiled as honestly as you could as you said,

"i like you too kōshi" his eyes widened as he smiled his broad smile. you grasped his hands and said "i'm so happy" as you laughed pulling him back into your arms. sugawara chucked and squeezed you as he said,

"i'm so happy too" you pulled your head away while sugawaras hands were still around your waist and cupped his face.

"kōshi,, thank you so much for the best day ever" he smiled back as you but before he could respond you pulled him into the kiss you both have waited years for.

you melted into eachothers embrace feeling the happiest the pair has been ever.
