Running!

It has always been the only thing which was able to help me easing my mind.

And it has always been the only thing which made sense.

Sadly it has to end too soon.

My name is Cameron Hall, and I'm a werewolf. To be exact, I'm the future alpha. I was born and raised in a small town in California called Redding. It's not your average kind of town; it used to be full of mysteries since the beginning of the time. Any kind of myth you can name it, you'll find it there.

As I phased back to my human form, it was already morning, and the sun was shining, I quickly put my clothes on and ran inside my house through the back door,

"Good Morning, mom" I said,

"Good Morning" she said and smiled, "How was your run?"

"Good, nothing new" I smiled back as I took my seat on the family table,

She poured me a glass of orange juice and placed it in front of me. As I took a sip of it, my little sister, Adriana, granted us with her presence.

"Good Morning, sleeping-beauty" my mother said

"Morning, mother!" she replied with a groan,

"Someone had a rough night" I teased her and chuckled.

Adriana was only seventeen years old, and she hasn't shifted yet at that time, which caused her lots of rough and sleepless nights.

"Tell me about it!" she sighed as she walked pass me to take a seat on the table, too, "Cam! Take a shower, please!" she said as she waved in front of her face, and I laughed.

"No, seriously brother, you stink!"

I sniffed my shoulder, and smelled nothing, "It's not that bad, check it out" I said as I leaned closer to her,

"Just don't move till I have my breakfast and then I'll get lost, deal?" She asked as she rolled her eyes, and poured milk in her bowl of cereal,

"Your wolf senses are kicking in!" I confirmed,

"I'm not fully a wolf, Cam" she objected and stuck her tongue out at me,

"Soon enough you will be, my precious little sister!" I said as I leaned closer to her again. That time she picked her bowl and stood up,

"Cameron, stop teasing your sister, and eat your breakfast!" my mother warned, and then I laughed and took a bite.

I finished my breakfast, then went up to have a shower, after that I put my clothes on, got my backpack and went out of the house after my mother kissed me on the cheek and wished me a good day.

I was walking on my way to school when out of nowhere my friend Austin appeared and started screaming, "Head's up!"

I looked up and there was a ball heading straight to my nose. I caught the ball easily and thrown it back to him, "Are you trying to break your alpha's nose?"

"Not even in my dreams!" he said with a chuckle, "How was your run?" he asked, walking beside me

"It was nice, nothing new"

He nodded, "Wasn't there any morning fairies?"

"Well, yeah. They kept repeating 'something big is coming'. I think they were just trying to tease me, though"
