𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙢𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙖 𝙬𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙠𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙚 (っ.❛ ᴗ ❛.)っ
"hi" Ashton whispers shyly when he sees a pink haired boy in the shelter as he walks in
"hello" the boy whispers a bit louder "what happened? why are you crying?" he quickly runs to Ashton to check up on him making him back away in fear
"hey, I don't bite it's okay, I'm here" Michael whispers to the boy soothingly calming him down a bit
"he cheated on me cause I-I wasn't enough" Ashton hiccups making the boy in front of him take him in a hug not knowing what to do with a boy he just met that's breaking down in front of him on the verge of having a panic attack
the stranger's hiccups and whimpers make Michael tear up, yeah he doesn't know him but once that boy walked in the shelter Michael felt the need to help him because he looks so broken and Michael knows how hard it is to just not be accepted
"love, it's okay he doesn't deserve you" Michael mumbles rubbing his back making Ashton start shaking more and more
"hey calm down, first hi I'm Michael, what's your name?" Michael whispers trying not to startle the shaking boy
"a-ashton" the boy stutters
"okay, Ashton, can I call you that? can I call you Ashton?" Michael makes sure he's okay with it
"yes" Ashton whispers calming down liking Michael's voice
"okay, Ashton he didn't deserve you, yeah? he's just an ass, yeah? you seem like a pretty handsome guy that doesn't deserve all that, yeah? you don't deserve and asshole like him" Michael assures the boy that's wiping his tears making him sit down on the bench his hand on his chest
"yeah" he says barely above a whisper
"yeah, yeah that's the spirit, you have to know you don't deserve him, you know that right? say it louder, love. say you don't deserve an asshole like him" Michael smiles at the boy making his lips tug up in a small smile
"I don't deserve an asshole like him" Ashton says more confidently
Michael cheers making Ashton giggle and feel a bit better "what's your story? what are you doing here?" he smiles
"I ran away from my family" Michael shrugs "I'm a transgender guy and they keep disrespecting my pronouns it was too much" Michael mumbles
"well, I support you, I mean who needs family" Ashton jokes making Michael laugh
"we can make this shelter like a place for youth or something" Michael thinks out loud
"oh, I like that"
