i will be giving a summary in the end of the chapter about what happens for everyone that doesn't wanna read that part i totally understand that and I'll put those things "--" when it starts and you can scroll to the other "--" when it all ends, but I'll be leaving a summary so you're up to date <3
"Michael, we need groceries" Luke and I come in the room "we're gonna get some stuff, do you want anything? I ask Michael
"we need coffee" he mumbles looking away from the shining screen of his phone for a split second
after Luke and I have asked everyone in the shelter if they need anything, we're out in the cold air of December beating the pale skin of our bodies
Luke's golden locks are gliding on his forehead while he scrunches his eyebrows trying to remember if we have missed anything
we enter target the hot air of the air conditioners shivering inside of us as we roam through the shelves looking for everything we're in need of
"hey ash, I'm gonna go look for that coffee Mike asked for, you stay here see if you need anything, call me when you're done then we could check out" he gives me a small smile, his white teeth shining
"okay, hurry up" I answer simply, being afraid of public and crowded places, not wanting to stay alone for a long period of time

as if fate wanted this to happen, right when Luke's curls dissaper into the other aisles, I feel a breath on my neck making me shiver and try to move away although I'm stopped by a hand seizing my arm, I've felt this hand before, there's no way, Xavier
"Xavier, go away" I didn't even need to look behind me to know who those hands belong to, the one I thought was my true love, the hands that would touch my skin and I'd feel like I'm on cloud nine, the one that I'd trace the lines of while we're eating in comfortable silence whilst he rubs my back making me feel content and safe, the one I thought would love me for eternity, that ended up leaving me with no one to hold
"you will always be mine, Ashton" he says as he caresses his soft hands on my skin that's shining with the florescent lights above us
"I will never be with you again, Xavier, I won't do that to myself again" I stutter feeling like my lungs are closing and my breath hitching when he touches my thighs
"you know you want this, Ashton" he mumbles into my ears kissing at my neck making me whimper uncomfortably
"no, I don't" I can hear the beats of my pumping heart increasing as my mind is racing with thoughts of what I could do to escape his latching hands that are on my tingling skin "stop convincing me I'm someone that I'm not" I hiss out, trying to grab my phone out of my pocket
"don't tell me you haven't thought about us like this before, Ashton" I can hear the smug smirk in his voice, I can picture it on the face that I've looked at for as long as I can remember, the face that once taught me love and compassion and kindness, the one that now appears in nightmares I can't get myself to talk about with anyone, not even the only one I trust, Luke, where's Luke? I need Luke
"I did, Xavier, and it grosses me out cause being with you is the worst I could think of, the most disgusting thing that will cross my mind is you" I sneak my phone in my hands, quickly pressing on the first contact I see, luckily for me, Luke was the last person to call me
"Luke, come here now, same place you left me in" I quickly mumble in the phone before I hang up
"you bitch" he turns me around, slapping me across the face making tears run out of my burning eyes
"Ashton, what's wrong?" I hear Luke's panicked voice as he finds me "Xavier" he hisses out when he sees the man that his best friend is having nightmares about
"I don't ever want to see you with Ashton again, don't you dare try to get closer to him, you don't deserve him and you never will" Luke slaps Xavier across the face, making me panic even more
"that's all you can do?" Xavier scoffs
"no, I also called the police cause I remember seeing you harass my friend" he points to two police officers standing behind him
"go to hell, Xavier" he says before he quickly runs to me and hugs me

"hey, breath in and out, come on, I'm here, everything is gonna be okay, I got you" he mumbles breathing in and out with me making me calm down a bit after a few seconds
"thank you" I whisper "can we get out of here? take me home, Luke, please" I cry in his arms as he helps me up holding me in his arms
he checks out, grab all the bags filled with everyone's needs and groceries and driving us both to our home, the home shelter.

summary on what happened, basically Luke and Ashton were out getting groceries when Luke goes into a different aisle and leaves Ashton in another, when Ashton gets harassed by his ex boyfriend, Xavier then calls Luke, Luke comes to help, call the police and they take Xavier in

that was longer than usual but I'm honestly not mad about this chapter, I like how it's written this time, finally
