He took notice looking quite panicked. "Well... Kokichi said I should pass by. He said that I could be of some use.." Why that lying little... Did he give me false information?! I guess he noticed my annoyed demeanor. He scratched his cheek shyly averting his gaze. "Am I bothering you..?" I shook my head groaning. "Tch.. never trust an oni.. How troublesome.. So tell me Saihara Shuichi..?" He looked back up. "Yes?" I moved his precious item towards me. "Are you the kitsune draining energy from the men and woman amongst our island?" He shook his head frivolously. "Of course not!" His expression softened. "I couldnt dream of doing something so cruel.." I felt myself grow less tense. "I apologize for assuming that." His brows furrowed. "I wouldn't blame you. My kind dont exactly have a good reputation." He scratched the back of his neck coyly. I placed the star ball on my lap. he reaches towards it. "Not a chance. You're not getting away that easily." He sighed. "I've heard stories of humans being able to earn favors from your kind in exchange for your lovely ball here." He frowned. "You're not wrong.." I felt a smile form. "Well then Mr. Saihara.. In exchange for your star ball you'll now be working under me.. Kokichi's findings have not always been reliable and I could use another assistant." I placed the ball in the middle keeping my hand over it. "Well then, Saihara.. Is it a deal?" He sighed. "Do I even have a choice?" I hummed. "Not particularly, but I wouldn't be lying when I say I'd like to learn more about you and your kind.." His cheeks grew red from embarrassment. "Alright then. It's a deal." He placed his hand over mine. "I look foward to our partnership, Saihara." I smiled ever so impishly.
